Is there a sales update for this? I’m surprised it’s not Platinum yet.

This may be my least favourite album of his. I've only just properly listened to it and my God, what a f***ing chore this was to get through. Some of the songs are so unbelievably boring that I can't believe he bothered to record them in the first place never mind put them on an album. I've had the whole thing on repeat since yesterday - it usually takes a while for some albums to really click with me and for me to fall in love with them - and I swear I still couldn't tell you how so many of these songs go. My Heart's Been Waiting For You and DNA save it from being a total disaster as they're both total bops but yeah, the rest of this is just shockingly boring. Album rank > Born To Do It. JLS had INSANE potential on X-Factor. I always imagined them releasing stuff like Fill Me In, U Remind Me and all the old classics that Craig David and Usher released in their early years. The fact they left the show to release crap like The Club Is Alive and She Makes Me Wanna is just such a waste of talent. The video having Aston topless was also so random too.

Honestly after watching the documentary I think the blame lies with her family. They enable her and seem to have warped her mind to believe that any valid criticism about her is 'trolling' or 'abuse' or 'hate' and none of them seem to have sat down with her and tried to educate her. Even when her Mum was talking about the Boyz release and the backlash that accompanied it she still framed it as the media picking on her for no reason.

Also, I have to laugh at all the comments criticising Perrie because of ‘what Jesy is going through’. Why is Jesy and her family allowed to drag the girls through the mud on a documentary being shown to millions of people but the other girls aren’t allowed to respond when asked directly about it? Where were the personal attacks? I didn’t see any?

Why do you ALWAYS go on about the ‘hate’ Jesy gets whenever something comes up in the news about the group? What about the negative comments Jesy fans are making about Perrie? Negative comments is not HATE. Reminder that Jade and Perrie suffered from eating disorders, anxiety and agoraphobia as well as Perrie having a miscarriage and a very public break up. They were all young girls needing professional help and it’s not up to THEM to be Jesy’s therapist! When Jesy left the group the other girls offered to speak to her with a therapist present to PROTECT them all and Jesy refused and then was the one to complain that her phonecall with the girls was ‘awkward’. Duh? That’s what the therapist was for?!

Honestly, if you already watched Odd One Out I wouldn't bother with Jesy's doc. It's pretty much the same thing except they've mixed in the Little Mix content with Jesy's pregnancy story so it covers both of them.

That comment by Jesy's Mum about the girls not being there for her was definitely a huge mistake. There really was no coming back from that. Jesy just needs to stop talking about Little Mix. Period.

If I remember correctly, Jesy isn't even legally attached to Little Mix in any shape or form now. Didn't she cash out her part of the trademark and that's why she won't get any future royalties from the group? I think even legally there's no way she can just reunite with them like that.

The fact I am now seeing people on social media trying to start a 'White Lives Matter' movement and saying it's not safe to be a white person in the UK any more. I hate this country.

Honestly, Season 1 of Australia was probably the best series of the entire franchise. Season 2 was a disaster in terms of gameplay but still hugely entertaining. Never boring.

Why do Spotify hate Jade?

So I saw this on social media earlier and the comments were a disaster. Full of anti-trans sentiments and homophobic slurs towards the manager. Colchester M&S criticised over gender-neutral changing rooms | Gazette I am sick to death of these wind-up merchants strolling into workplaces and recording retail workers with baited questions so they can get some some media Likes. Where on earth are these people getting the idea they have to change in front of a man? There's cubicles with locked doors and staff/security/customers right outside! Just utter nonsense.

I'm so out of the loop but is there any chance this will get pushed or has charting potential? Or just a treat for fans?

I’m a bit shocked at that. I mean, maybe it’s just the fact that the interviewer was ballsy enough to ask such a question but also that Perrie just answered it directly. I’d rather Jesy made amends and they got back together as they were MUCH better as a 4 piece and it was never the same once she left. It seemed like there were maybe some bridges built behind the scenes lately with Leigh at least so I’m sad that a 4 piece still isn’t on the cards. Entirely possible Jesy simply doesn’t want to come back as well I guess…

Catching up but WOW, it's really sad to see that such a talented group like JLS were releasing dirge like The Club Is Love. ☹️ I remember watching them as X-Factor contestants and genuinely being excited thinking about the potential they had and I imagined them releasing stuff like U Remind Me or Fill Me In or quality songs like those and now looking at their discography page on Wikipedia and just feeling so let down. They released utter garbage.

Not this revisionist nonsense again. Literally in the 12 months before they announced their break-up they had Sweet Melody (massive number 1), Heartbreak Anthem (million selling top 3), Confetti (platinum top 10), Kiss My (platinum top 10), No Time For Tears (gold top 20), a platinum album and a Brit Award. How on earth is any of that 'dwindling returns'? That's more success in one year than most artists get at any point in their career, never mind a girl group in their tenth year with a member down and two members being pregnant? I literally cannot understand why LM fans keep repeating this. They seem to base it off the fact that the Between Us singles flopped which was after all of the above success - total overexposure - and even then they still went top 40, and the album itself was another multi platinum success followed by a huge arena tour. As for The Saturdays I feel like with the 90's/00's comeback of most pop groups in 2022 - 2025 they could have had a big arena tour but they're leaving it way too late now. Ticket prices are unaffordable for most people and that nostalgia wave won't last forever.

Why didn't they perform....anywhere? Why has their only promo been some social media content and a couple interviews? Keep in mind the girls were never THAT huge even at their peak. They 'only' had about half a dozen hits and they were mostly two decades ago. Announcing an arena tour after all this time with half the line-up missing and no promo was just asking for a cancellation.

Midnight Cowboy really, really underwhelmed me when I first heard it. Such a huge drop in quality from AOMD and I agree it killed the momentum from that and ruined the hype for the Fantasy release. A stupid move to release it as a promo single. I like the production on it but the chorus is so meh.

Ehhh. A bit too many comedians for my liking, especially Romesh and Rob who I'm sick of the sight of now. Leigh is a nice surprise! And James Blunt will be hilarious. I was kinda hoping for a less predictable cast and maybe an unexpected A-Lister or two, especially with all the hype about how many celebrities adore the show. I mean we had Lisa Kudrow meeting Linda S3 on social media and we know Courteney Cox loves the show. Cheryl isn't a huge celeb these days but even she would have brought some star power. Seems like a very 'safe' cast, better than Celeb Big Brother or I'm A Celeb but probably the same star power as a Bake Off special.
