  1. Literally spent last night reading the amount of school shootings on Wikipedia. They're happening at LEAST every MONTH! Nothing will change. It's the same generic statements every time. People will mourn, politicians will say that something needs to change and then people will move on to the next tragedy.
  2. Break Up Song has about 200K sales more than Holiday plus peaked six places higher and as you said, spent longer in the top 20. The run from Think About Us > Bounce Back > One I've Been Missing was them on a downward trajectory and seemed to indicate public interest and their commercial appeal was fading. Break Up Song at the time became their biggest hit in a while and showed longevity (it spent longer in the top 20 than Bounce Back did in the top 40) and that's what I mean when I say that Holiday then being released and missing the top 10 completely and not doing as well sales wise seemed like it had messed up the momentum that Break Up Song had managed to build. They're lucky they had Sweet Melody/The Search afterwards.
  3. Not gonna lie that period between Think About Us and Holiday did make me think they were never getting a smash hit single again. I feel like Holiday derailed the good work that Break Up Song had done for their (waning) commercial appeal and that they were unlikely to bother the top 10 again. The fact that they then had Sweet Melody, Confetti and Heartbreak Anthem smashing and being their biggest songs in years was a great example of an act turning their career around.
  4. I can't see any of the girls having international success regardless of who their management is.
  5. This was really enjoyable. I didn't post anything but I was always checking for updates. Fantastic job. :)
  6. It's easier for a solo artist to sing choruses live than a group. You can't ask three women to perform choreography and sing a chorus in harmony together. You are right, though. Your post reminded me of when they sang The Cure on the LM5 tour and frequently stopped singing due to emotional moments (Jesy crying) and the track sounded the exact same with nobodys microphone held to their mouth. I understand lip syncing choruses with choreography but slower stuff or songs without choreo should definitely be attempted.
  7. Looking forward to this.

I’m not downplaying their success at all, just poking fun at the fact yet another unlikely group from the 00’s/10’s is back together. Pretty sure Tulisa and Dappy had a falling out and genuinely didn’t think there’d be demand for an arena tour for them. They were popular but thought their demographic was chavvy teenagers.
  9. What was it?

Now N-Dubz are even getting back together.
  11. You can’t compare petty drama like that to deep, complex issues regarding racism and blackfishing though. This isn’t a ‘Mel C says Geri’s song is shit on CD:UK’ or ‘Robbie called Gary a twat during an interview’ thing. It’s so much deeper than that.
  12. I definitely don’t think their emotions were staged at all but in regards to the speeches they’ve (like I assume any artist doint a tour) said the same thing every night for a month so it’s probably going to sound really scripted at this point if you’ve saw the videos on YouTube before.
  13. The last performance of Between Us was just so beautiful. I can't even imagine how they felt singing that song for the last time in front of such a massive audience.
  14. Seriously we need a new girl group on the scene. I can't handle the top 40 just being rappers, Ed Sheeran and dance tracks.
  15. I guess but I swear Saweetie was in the UK this week and Anne-Marie has been playing shows in London all week so I thought for the final night of the final tour they could have jumped on stage. And they managed to get Stormzy for the LM5 tour.
  16. Wait, so there was no special guests? Weren't Anne-Marie, Stormzy and Saweetie strongly hinted to be joining them tonight?
  17. Ahh. It says 5 mins til show on the bottom right and been stuck like that for ages. Cheers!
  18. Anyone else on a buffering preview screen?
  19. How do I get the stream on Sky TV? I don’t wanna watch it on my phone and I’m a technology noob lmao
  20. If she apologises then yeah, I could see them eventually letting her back. However it's been about 8 months since most of Britain tried to educate her about blackfishing and get her to change her ways and she's still treating black people as a fetish on Instagram, looking darker than ever and doing Jamaican accents. I personally never want to see her back. Keep her out. The other girls are fantastic without her. EDIT - I feel like comparing her to Geri's departure downplays the severity of Jesy's actions. This wasn't some pathetic chart battle or dissing someone else's single or making a catty comment in an interview - this was Leigh-Anne (a new mother to twins) being bullied and targeted by Nicki Minaj and her demonic barbs on social media while Jesy laughed and encouraged it. Her social media was flooded with insults and threats and Nicki was relentlessly targeting her. I feel like that's something you just don't ever forget. There's nothing 'showbiz' or 'pop star' about that. That was a human being being harassed by thousands of people. It was extremely upsetting.
  21. Surely a Netflix release?
  22. I remember Kelly Tweeted about their Touch (at home) performance. I'd have loved to see them appear on her show. It would have been so funny. Looking forward to this!
  23. How can a song sell that much in 3 months and not chart? 120K in sales in 3 months would at least mean a couple weeks in the top 200? Edit - Oops the last update was 2021 not 2022. My bad.
  24. Why would they acknowledge the existence of that vile woman?

Well honestly I remember their Greatest Hits medley on Tumble and that was a PERFECT opportunity to really let loose and sell some tickets for their tour and even though they had a HUGE empty space they just stood still for half of it and done some basic arm movements as usual. They had 5 big songs to showcase and they didn't even bother. Their Paul O'Grady performance of Forever Is Over was traumatic, they performed Missing You on some big TV shows and it was dodgy miming and crap dancing and their Ant and Dec performance is only known for Mollie's bum note so they definitely had chances on bigger stages and never made a good impression. Even in America when they launched on Jay Leno with a live band and vocals both Una and Vanessa were shocking at points and Rochelle completely changed the melody of the chorus.
