I hate, hate, hate the music industry and it's manipulative 'for charity!!' crap. Ed Sheeran is also a stain on the music industry. Why are the GP so...obsessed with him?

Are the FFP2 masks going to be provided by the government? It's £10 for a pack of 5 masks here in the UK and they're single use. They can't ask everyone to use masks like those everywhere they go unless they're going to be provided for free surely? :lol:

One of my close friends is an extreme anti vaxxer and she's REALLY been testing my patience lately. We agree to never talk about Covid together but she has an alternative Facebook account under a fake name that I'm friends with (I know I should 'unfollow' but I'm just curious to read her insanity sometimes) and her and her psycho friends have been smugly sharing stories about random footballers dropping dead and passing out and using it as 'proof' the vaccine is out to kill everyone. Apparently there's a massive Telegram group where they've all found a way to fake their vaccination status and fake QR codes and it's been working so they're all celebrating together. It's just such a shame. She's such a smart woman in other aspects of life and is such a good friend to me and this stuff is just enraging.

The Honest Vocal Coach is insufferable, sorry. She might genuinely be a vocal coach but anytime I've heard her try to mimic a note or riff from a video she's watching she always fails and excuses it with 'oh I can't do it this morning, oh I just woke up, oh I haven't warmed up' plus sometimes she's just downright rude and personal with her commentary.

I actually thought her dancing was fine and enjoyed the performance aspect of it (and I liked her ad-libs at the end) but the miming is just annoying and I did cringe with the gunshot sounds at the start. Not in 2021, Jezy.

The sheer hypocrisy of this when Jesy literally sat silently and watched as Nicki Minaj (in front of 100K viewers) tore Leigh-Anne to shreds and again, did nothing when the Barbz were spamming Leigh's comment section with abuse, insults and death threats. Anyone who leaves comments about suicide and personal insults towards pop stars is a complete scumbag but let's stop acting like Jesy is the sole victim of everything. She's made herself a laughing stock and continues to do so. She's not taking ANY criticism or feedback on board. She can step out of the spotlight at any time but she insists on this 'baddie' image and attitude. I don't condone the abuse (again, just have to clarify that) but this wouldn't have happened if she didn't turn the GP against her with the Boyz video and song, the blackfishing and the Insta with Nicki.

Isn't it sort of good news that Omnicorn is more infectious and (apparently) less serious? Like, long term wouldn't it be better to have this as the dominant strain over Delta/Alpha?

Jade and Perrie are just so charismatic in those videos. I could watch them talk about all the little details and memories for hours.

I've only heard LM5 and Confetti and the former was definitely better and more cohesive/felt like an actual body of work. The latter just felt like four amazing songs (Break Up Song, Happiness, Sweet Melody and Holiday) with some demos and leftovers thrown on at the end.

Agreed. It's definitely the strongest of the new tracks for me. It's a very soaring chorus and the knife sound effects and the stuttering hook is brilliant.

She's 30 years old. She doesn't need 'looking after'. The sheer lack of accountability and self awareness she CONTINUES to show after how badly recieved 'Boyz' is astonishing. Is she saying she didn't notice the brand name of the jacket before wearing it? She was 'too focused on her performance' she never once saw the outfit she was wearing for - I'm assuming - a couple of hours before she changed into her stage outfit? What a load of absolute nonsense. I still cannot comprehend how someone can support someone who's made the choices she has. It's so hard to understand. Do you mind me asking what it is with Jesy that you adore so much? It's just so bizarre. The fact you keep making excuses for her and blaming it on her team, the fact you deflect any criticism towards her and insist it's because we're all 'haters!'.....I. Just. Don't. Get. It. (I obviously do NOT support anyone attacking her physical appearance and I agree that's disgusting and I'd call out anyone who done that, but it's exactly the reason why I think she's an absolute idiot for refusing to ACCEPT criticism and CHANGE her behaviour. To be honest I didn't expect them to win until like, Week 5 when it became quite obvious. The show really needed a group to win to justify the existence of the group category and they were the best chance of doing it. Still, though, I used to absolutely HAMMER the mp3's of Super Bass and I'm Like A Bird.

Shame they didn't do Jingle Bell Ball.

A medley would most likely be Touch/Shout Out/Sweet Melody. (If they even get a slot)

What has Ginola actually done to deserve a win? He's utterly miserable, boring, doesn't really get involved in much conversation, doesn't seem to have a sense of humour, has been rude to Naughty Boy and Louise and yet everyone fawns over him and worships him and he's somehow favourite to win?

iTunes is completely dead and there's no way she's sold 200K in under two months just from being in the top 100 for a day or two. The US figure is completely made up. As for the 212K 'worldwide' I'd imagine 200K of that is from the UK...

I think Leigh has lipped every performance of Sweet Melody so far (she's sounded EXACTLY the same in each of them, very audible and 'smooth' yet she's doing choreo during her section which makes it more obvious) but I thought Jade was singing live at least on them as her ad-libs looked very convincing...

Surprised someone disagreed with me. I think he's beautiful. Anyways I'm Team Naughty Boy after David's outburst last night. I've noticed that everyone takes their bad moods out on him and makes comments to him/takes offence to things he says whereas if it was someone like Danny who volunteered David for the trial he wouldn't have said anything. :rolleyes: There's definitely an element of social hierachy amongst them and NB is seen as the one they're 'allowed' to snap at and make fun of. I noticed Adam was very passive aggressive with him when he said that he missed Arlene and his response was very blunt 'Well we all miss her, we're all gonna miss eachother'. NB was the closest one to Arlene and I felt like Adam's reaction was quite rude, and again in the joint trial they did Adam kept rabbiting on and repeating to David that 'NB can't do it, there's no point, just leave it' which I thought was quite insensitive. Surprised Kadeena left considering she was part of the trial and normally the screen time helps you avoid elimination. I guess Louise will be gone tonight and then after that I can't really call it. I'd LOVE Danny, David and Adam to f*** off next but I suspect it'll be Snoochie, Matty and NB.

Oh yeah, I fully understand that (particularly for Perrie) songs like Power would have to have lip syncing due to the choreography and the growling and belting but I guess I was just curious to see other parts of songs that have never really been done fully live. It's easier to spot lip syncing on a TV performance but on tour it's more difficult. The Brits performance of Woman Like Me was fully mimed right? I was convinced Perrie was the only one singing live (Jesy and Leigh are horrible at miming and Jade was very unconvincing a few times) but if not then she must be amazing at lip syncing. :lol:

Just curious as I've never actually saw them live but I ended up randomly watching this video and was a little disappointed if it's accurate - YhXg9LTnf1o Has Perrie ever done her big note in Power live? And to sum that video up it basically suggests Jade mimed the most on the LM5 tour even the 'easy' stuff like Wasabi.

I can't see Jesy joining again unless she apologises and understands what she done. There's a difference between petty boyband/girlband drama like other groups have went through and blackfishing/watching a global star bully your ex bandmate (who's just given birth) over social media and encourage her millions of fans to do the same.
