  2. Crazy how quickly Dizzee's popularity just dropped off a cliff. I forgot how huge he was and how effortlessly he was racking up number 1's for a while.
  3. When I first heard Dreamcheater I also thought it sounded like Open Up and 2am blended together.
  4. Please keep Amanda Holden and Roman Kemp away from this. I’m honestly sick of the sight of them and the latter seems to be on every reality show possible. I want to keep the calibre of celebrities high. Proper A-listers if possible. None of the usual ITV mob or celebs who have already done Big Brother/I’m A Celeb/Bake Off/Strictly/Dancing On Ice/Pointless/The Chase/Catchphrase etc etc etc.

Ridiculous in the sense that it’s crazy/hard to believe. I should have used a different term.

It's ridiculous these girls haven't reunited yet considering every other pop group in history - some with actual bad blood between members and some who were on hiatus for less time than The Sats - have gotten together again. I literally cannot comprehend that the likes of Busted (who we never thought would unite again because of Charlie and it had been 10 years since they split), Pussycat Dolls (with all their drama), Girls Aloud (after the death of Sarah) and seemingly everyone else has gotten back together - 5ive, The Wanted, N-Dubz, original Sugababes, S Club 7 , Steps, Spice Girls (multiple times), Take That, JLS, Destiny's Child, Boyzone, Westlife, N Sync, Fifth Harmony and even ABBA have done something - and yet a group who were all great friends and are UK based and had plenty of chart success and have been asked about reuniting constantly since they broke up 12 years ago still haven't done it. I mean, they don't have to if they don't want to and nobody should be pressured into it but I just find it bizarre. They know the demand is there. There's no way they haven't been getting offers to do it. I don't believe that neither Vanessa or Rochelle aren't missing being on stage. They all keep in touch and still have a group chat. Even if they say they can't get everyone together to discuss it I still find that hard to believe when it's been 12 years and most of them are in London.
  7. I'm pretty impressed with Adam calling out the IAC Insta page for captioning his stuff with David as 'banter'. It's absolutely not banter at all and it's been a real shame to see Adam being broken down to tears with David's non stop insults and jabs. I really am glad our Una from The Sats is away from him. Can just imaging the sexism and behaviour behind closed doors. (What is it with the Thomas brothers being treated so badly on these reality shows?!)
  8. The f*** is wrong with people? And all the utterly ridiculous social media comments blaming HER for having the medical supplies in the car. Don't people understand if she's constantly making trips to the hospitals and back that it's sometimes easier to just keep stuff in the car? I will say though that I do admire the fact she lives in a fairly residential and 'normal' area. I think it's quite brave considering her high profile celebrity status and the amount of nutjobs and stalkers around who know where she lives. Unfortunately it's stunts like this that just push celebs into moving into higher security or off grid places of living. :/
  9. BTW just saying if 'Gossip' was included it'd probably be in my top 5.
  10. Oh wow this would be fantastic. I hope she can also nab a US supporting slot for someone big too. And to be honest I could see the Ariana thing being true as LM did support her on the Dangerous Woman tour, were invited to One Love Manchester and then Ariana got into a big disagreement with Piers Morgan about them in 2018 as well so there's definitely a friendly connection!
  11. Literally every celebrity in the industry will get personal attacks. All of them. Can you give a specific example of a black female artist getting HATE (genuine hate, not just Twitter trolls) for simply existing? Because like I said, Normani was absolutely showered with praise and had the whole industry and 5H fandom buzzing when she dropped Motivation and everyone was begging her to hurry up and release her album and drop visuals. Her solo career only failed because her management were abysmal and she was dealing with personal matters - her family being ill. How on earth is that because of 'not being seen or appreciated'? I did mention the white artists being dragged for the music but let's not pretend Taylor Swift hasn't been ridiculed for a decade and has the public dissecting every aspect of her life. She's extremely controversial and unliked by many. Katy Perry has been a laughing stock for years. Justin Bieber was targeted ever since he showed up on the scene as a teenager. I mean, you can get an example of literally any artist and they'll have been getting abuse at some point. Are we forgetting just how bad Liam Payne had it before he died? I'm sorry but again, while I do acknowledge that black females have a tougher time in the industry the points and examples Leigh make just aren't the best ones to be making. She literally just got a number 3 album BECAUSE fans rallied for her. How is that not being seen and appreciated? It seems like she keeps blaming her skin colour for her lack of success when the reality is she fumbled the bag with a crap lead single and considering Perrie flopped just as hard as her, it's got nothing to do with Leigh being black. (Also, who even says 'where are the black pop artists?'? I've never even heard of people saying this. I'm on stan Twitter alot and frequent pop music forums and can't say this is even a thing people say so again, I'm just so lost?)

I thought the Traitors skit fell a bit flat. I think it's maybe because I've saw so many reels on social media of people mocking the show in the same way that it just wasn't anything new for me and I think it was a bit awkward with the delivery at times. The hostage sketch with Jamie Dornan was absolutely HILARIOUS though even if you could see him constantly looking at the lines off stage.

  14. Black girls in pop spark debate on exclusion - The Post I'm a bit confused at what she's trying to say in these articles. I don't think the examples she/the journalist are citing are good at all and feels like they're just cherry picking random critical Tweets to make it out as if these black artists are being targeted by the mainstream when in actual fact every pop star gets these sort of reactions. Taylor Swift is the most white bread, vanilla female and she has her fair amount of haters and criticism for her music, stage presence and vocals. Ed Sheeran gets absolutely dragged by many pop fans. Perrie herself has been the butt of jokes from her own fanbase for how beige her music has been. Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Britney Spears etc have all been a laughing stock of the internet at some point. Every single artist gets random Tweets made about them. I do respect her for her activism (even if it's hypocritical at times) but every interview is just so negative and for someone who doesn't want to be known as the 'black girl from Little Mix' it's pretty much been the focus of all her interviews. “People will say, 'Where are all the Black pop girls?'” Pinnock said to the media outlet. “You can’t see us because you’re tearing us down. You’re not allowing us to thrive and are not supporting us. They did the same to Chloe Bailey and Normani.” Who is tearing them down? What does she even mean? Her album just went to number 3 on the strength of her fans supporting her. It's hard for any artist to get hits these days and again, even her white blonde bandmate Perrie has struggled. I don't see what she's trying to say about Normani either considering fans have been begging for her to release new music and drop visuals for her album for years and she literally had two massive hits and a ton of industry support with two VMA performances. It's a bit of a head scratcher for me.
  15. Cringing at how many times Nicole says 'When I wrote this...' or 'When I heard this in the studio' about the songs that the other Dolls clearly had no involvement in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwf_pgaboZU&t=1047s

Trailer just dropped. I mean, aside from the obvious stain of JK Rowling making money from this the other issue for me is that it all just seems so...pointless? The original movies only ended 15 years ago and we've had the Hogwarts Legacy game a few years ago, the Cursed Child play, Fantastic Beasts series and the Reunion in 2022 with the cast. There hasn't been nearly enough time to give the franchise a breather and the original cast was stacked with some of the biggest and most beloved British actors ever - Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane, Michael Gambon, Gary Oldman, Jason Isaacs, Ralph Fiennes etc. Daniel, Rupert and Emma are ingrained in society as THE trio and the fact these movies were the first time seeing everything brought to life (and being in the middle of the anticipated book releases which were huge events) means it really had that special experience that any future adaptions just won't have. Also, looking at the trailer Hagrid looks ridiculous I'm sorry. Even the way he speaks is too polite and coherent when original Hagrid was very rough and mumbly. The actor - forgot his name - looks like he's dressed up as Hagrid for Halloween. The trio look fantastic and so do Petunia, Dudley and Malfoy but I'm not keen on Dumbledore (Gambon's portrayal really lost that kindness and humour that is so important in the books and I really hope this isn't missed in this series) and Snape, well, just looks ridiculous and is so glaringly unlike Rickman's iconic portrayal that the poor actor is just going to get slated like crazy. I have no idea what they were thinking with this casting choice. HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE | Official Teaser Trailer (2026) 4K
  17. Plenty of former celebrities leave the industry and have regular jobs.
  18. If her mental health is really being impacted by the loss of privacy and dealing with fans and paparazzi then yes, the logical thing to do would be to stop out of the spotlight? It's delusional to think that anything will change in pop culture regarding celebrity worship and parasocial relationships just because one celebrity makes a fuss about it. Fans have literally murdered their favourite artists, broken into houses, snuck into hotel rooms, harassed their family members etc for decades and nothing has changed. You cannot get rid of the human nature to be curious about seeing famous people in public. Kids and teenagers will always, always be excited to see a celebrity and want to approach them. People with poor mental health will have fixations on celebrities and stalk them. Death threats and abuse will always come when a celeb gets political. None of this will ever change. And it's ridiculous to compare a normal 9 - 5 job where you're completely anonymous to the life of a huge pop star with millions of fans. Every job has downsides but only fame causes you to lose your entire private life and have everyone know who you are, where you go, every personal detail about you etc. It's extremely messed up and again, I SUPPORT Roan here, but if it's causing anguish and misery then you have to re-evaluate whether being a pop star is the best choice or whether you're better moving away from the public, avoiding promo and just releasing music independently or something.
  19. There's nothing more annoying than entitled fans claiming their faves are 'rude' for not acknowledging them or posing for selfies/signing autographs in public places. Celebrities are human beings too and if they have time off from work and are trying to enjoy a day with their family, a breakfast in a hotel, a walk in a park etc then they should be allowed to in peace without fans coming up to them and invading their privacy. I know it's part of the deal with being famous that stuff like this will always happen but we need to stop encouraging it and start supporting celebrities who set boundaries and call out these toxic parasocial relationships. I literally just saw something about two Scottish footballers being called out and called ignorant because they didn't stop for a young fan either. It's so entitled to think that because you buy a ticket to support someone or buy their CD or go see their movie or whatever that this person 'owes' you something in return. While it's true that these people wouldn't be where they are without their fans, stuff like Meet and Greets or Comic Con or red carpets or competitions are professional ways to interact with them and if someone ignores you in public you need to accept it and remember that these people probably get fans swarming them all day every day no matter where they go or what they do and if someone does greet you with a smile and poses with you then it's something to be grateful for and not something you were owed anyway. Saying that though, if it really is impacting Roan and she can't handle it then she really should get out of the industry. Things aren't going to change. You cannot be a successful and popular musician and still have your privacy in public.
  20. Joyce was pretty much useless after S2 so I voted her.
  21. There's an interview with Jessica out (sorry can't link rn) and she's got Nicole's stuttering words from that interview printed on T-shirts and is selling them. Yikes. The whole interview is so negative and mean spirited. The two male hosts even had a dig at Kim for having a UK accent. Just grossly uncomfortable.
  22. Erica ruined Season 3.
  23. Why did my post get deleted @Slayer ? I know you’re a Jesy stan (for some reason) but running a Twitter page giving updates on every single thing she does, plus deleting any comments questioniny your non stop bumps to this thread with mundane Tweets from your fan page/Jesy is bordering on….extremely weird. Please don’t try and erase my contributions to the forum like that.
  24. The 'go, go, go' parts are the only interesting part. Also I would have LOVED to see GRL support them on tour. Surprised they aren't considering it's Robin's other group and they were ready to reunite in 2021.
  25. I love how much she stans The Saturdays. She's mentioned the Megamix so many times over the years and she was at the Work and Greatest Hits tours. She just has so much taste.
