I was under the impression that the Saturdays docu thing was a fake rumour? Even if it was real I can imagine it being cancelled after On Your Radar did so badly.
They've posted Twitter pictures of them outside the E! building and have been going on about having "big plans" for America this year since last summer. I could see 'Higher' ft Flo Rida either being massive or flopping there, probably the latter but I think it's their best shot at breaking through anyway.
How are One Direction doing now?

Off topic but don't know where to post this (sorry). Basically my iTunes keeps playing the wrong songs in the "last played" column. For example whenever I sync my iPod it'll say I recently listened to 'Good Feeling' by Flo Rida for example, when in actual fact I played 'Wild Ones'. It's done that quite alot. It'll get the artist correct but completely list a different song to what I recently played. It's starting to bug me (I have OCD lol).

I quite agree. The only shot that the Saturdays had in the US was with that Flo Rida collaboration but that song seems dated now, and who knew at that time that UK pop would explode in the US (aka The Wanted and 1D). My next watchlist for the US would be Ed Sheeran and Rebecca Fergusson. It will be interesting to see where they go with Emilie Sande (she's already being advertised on the Australia iTunes main page).
The Saturdays apparently have a reality TV documentary with E! starting this year, although I can't see them doing well in the US at all sadly. I agree about Rebecca Ferguson and Ed Sheeran, I also think Example could stand a chance as well and Labrinth.

Would rather see Gotye & Kimbra be #1, but only if they are #1 officially this week. Don't think I can put up with all these one-week #1s again, it's like Summer 2011 all over again.
Why would it bother you at all? Surely it's a good thing that there are lots of songs going to #1? It's more interesting than seeing the same song at the top every week. And before you say that last summer had tons of non-#1's in front of 'Moves Like Jagger', 'No Regrets' sold about 300K and 'All About Tonight' and 'Heart Skips A Beat' were big hits, and 'Stay Awake' and 'Don't Go' both had pretty decent sales too. Only 'Swagger Jagger', 'Promises' and 'Loca People' actually underperformed.

Amazing how many later singles are overshadowing earlier singles these days....
Next To Me > Daddy
Sexy and I Know It > Champagne Showers
Kiss The Stars > What Do You Take Me For?
Love On Top > Countdown
Edge Of Glory > Judas
Mama Do The Hump > When I Was A Youngster
Titanium > Without You/Little Bad Girl/Where Dem Girls At?
Firework > Teenage Dream
International Love > Rain Over Me
Who You Are > Who's Laughing Now
Lego House > You Need Me I Don't Need You
Of course most of these are because the later singles are of much higher quality than the previous one but I still find it weird anyway. Especially when we're so used to singles gradually doing worse with every release.

I'm thinking a re-release.
They've left it far too long to launch another single from On Your Radar, and there's no way it can be a new album, plus they probably couldn't get away with another EP so the only thing I can think of is a re-release. They must have plans on releasing pretty soon if they're already talking about the video. :o

Nooooo. :( Kelly deserves more than just three weeks top ten (with a #8 peak). :o
BTW off topic but can someone help me? I'm trying to buy 'Next To Me' on iTunes and I keep getting a "due to a problem with the iTunes store your store credit balance is currently unavailable for purchasing music" message even though my credit card has cash in it? :S

I love how confident everyone is on here about future releases and how well they'll do. I don't think One Direction are guaranteed a top 20 hit at all. Just because The Wanted managed to break the top ten on iTunes doesn't mean that other boy bands can break through. Even The Wanted might end up being one hit wonders over there (ala Tinie Tempah so far). The fact people are saying they could be in the US top ten for months and be there alongside Cher Lloyd is absolutely bonkers. :o The US is a very unpredictable market. I could see 1D getting a top 100 hit, but Cher? There's so many other young females on the scene in the US better than Cher who are struggling to get a hit so what chance does she stand?
The only other British acts I could see having success (and by success I mean one or two hit singles) in the US in the future are probably Ed Sheeran, Labrinth, Olly Murs and maybe Little Mix (there's no girl bands around at all in the US) and Rebecca Ferguson (in the album chart).
