I thought it would have made sense just to throw everything (besides Word Up) on the tracklisting. I don't understand Greatest Hits that miss out hits. Surely the more the better/impressive it looks? They're for Little Mix fans anyway - if you buy a Little Mix Greatest Hits I doubt you'd care about the length.

Honestly Jade's vocal ability is pretty amazing. Her head voice, rapid singing on those verses are insane. It reminds me of how quick she rapped that verse on American Boy. I wonder if she'll be able to pull them off live.

These type of posts are so annoying, sorry. You can appreciate how hard they've worked and still be underwhelmed with the debut of the song. :unsure: Someone saying they wished No was higher on Spotify doesn't mean they think Little Mix are lazy and need to work harder. It's a chart forum. Stop whinging that people are discussing charts.

It's important that they still remain 'relevant' so to speak and continue to get hit singles to ensure future radio play/playlisting. Of course the music is the priority (and they're delivering so much material for us) but if they start consistently underperforming or flopping then it's more likely to push them towards a hiatus anyway. I'd imagine there'd be more chance of a second single from this if No is a smash as well whereas if it bombs they'll move on quickly.

It's still the same problem that LSL had - overexposure. Not even Adele or Ed Sheeran could get away with releasing so much new singles in such a short space of time. You need to give the public a chance to miss you and you need to leave enough time so it's a 'comeback' and not just 'another Little Mix song'. They really should have skipped LSL and kept a 3 month gap between the Anne-Marie collab and this at least.

I can't see them making a hiatus announcement now but to be honest I'd kinda rather they did and it boosted their song/album/tour a little. Get those headlines girls.

Well Kiss My and Heartbreak Anthem weren't their videos and No/Sweet Love looked pretty cheap. What was the other one they filmed when pregnant? Was it Confetti or do we have another video coming?

I think you're underestimating how difficult pregnancy can be. With two members heavily pregnant it really restricts things and rules out choreography based routines, plus stuff like multiple outfit changes can be more complicated and uncomfortable if it's a 1 day shoot. They also probably have to do local shoots and cheap sets because of Covid and their pregnancy too (so no travelling abroad or going to a location like Shout Out To My Ex's shoot) and there's also a budget and four other music videos. I don't think they're expecting anything from this campaign to be a smash hit single anyway and everything is just to promote the album/tour so I don't think an amazing music video is really their priority.

Yeah, honestly, Jade is so unbelievably hard working when it comes to promoting the group. She's CONSTANTLY posting on social media Little Mix related memes/videos/merchandise and she's visited countless radio stations and done solo interviews for the last couple of months now. Her work ethic and commitment to the group is incredible. She could easily refuse and just ask to do Zoom stuff like Perrie and Leigh.

You know, the song actually does sound very The Saturdays. I could imagine this being on their Finest Selection tracklist next to 808 and Walking Through The Desert. :lol: The video is a bit boring and seems more like a 3rd/4th single type video but I think the song is good enough to be a hit anyway.

Listening to the new tracks for the first time and I think 'Trash' is the most instant and insanely catchy but I can still recognize it's very 'album track' like.

It'd be nice for them to get one final smash hit before their hiatus. (Ugh if their last hit is an Anne-Marie collab...)

^ I think Jesy said on a Live Stream with the girls around LM5’s era that they should have added Forget You Not in their setlist but yeah, I guess it’s easier for them in hindsight to say stuff like that.

BTW I've always been curious as to who actually decides setlists and how decisions are made? I get the fact all the big singles need done but I remember the complaints about the LM5 tour ditching Forget You Not (when it was clear the girls loved it and was a fan favourite).....who on their team really decides that something like Told You So should get a slot instead? Or that they couldn't just add it in anyway? Surely for the Confetti tour the girls would have complete control over the setlist?

Jeez, some of these album tracks are so bad.

I could see a 6 song medley type thing like The Saturdays did on their Greatest Hits. There's no way No Time For Tears (one of their least successful features) and Forget You Not (an album track from 2018 that didn't get performed on it's supporting tour) will be done in full.

I love how Perrie acknowledges she wasn't that involved with the writing process and praises the other girls. And the Wasabi clips make it look like a Jade solo video. :lol:

Jesus, do you have some sort of notification alert to Jesy's name being mentioned so you can rush in to 'defend' her? I didn't even bloody criticise her. All I said was that things were sour and if they were still a 4 piece for this release it would have made more sense to do a big promo push with a BBC style documentary. It's easy enough to skip over Jesy in a cute little 15 minute podcast that barely anyone listens to but for a show that would be reaching for millions of viewers on television and a length of around 45 minutes like they usually are, they would have no option but to mention Jesy's departure and clearly that wouldn't be a good idea considering the animosity and tension between both parties. It wouldn't be fair to ask them to discuss it and there's probably legal stuff involved where they wouldn't be able to harm Jesy's image anyway. As has been said to you many times - chill out. We're not here to 'hate' on Jesy. :mellow:
