The Saturdays
Frankie is doing I'm A Celeb. I hope she'll be more interesting than Vanessa was. She's favourite to win before launch night.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! • Series 21 • Odds
Surprised Frankie is favourite. Danny Miller seems like he'd have it in the bag surely? Don't attractive males tend to always do well on these types of shows? (Actually I just checked and it was a young Mum 'I miss my kids' type character who won in 2019 and 2020  never mind)

I don't use Tik Tok so have no idea if this is a random fan or one of Perrie's friends but if it's the former I feel so awkward, although glad Perrie seems fun and approachable like that.

Sweet Melody as the opener with an extended intro of 'doo doo''s with them appearing individually in different parts of the stage under a spotlight please.

It's a nice surprise to see that they admit this was the most exciting and happiest time of their careers. I always wondered if they maybe secretly hated this era for the amount of work/promo/travelling they did and the level of fame they achieved (I remember Kelly Clarkson saying Breakaway made her unhappy) so this was interesting. Glory Days really was an era every stan dreams for wasn't it? A number 1 single that's one of the biggest girl group songs of all time, three other million selling singles that went top ten, another top 15 Platinum hit, a number 1 million selling album, a sell out arena tour, a Brit Award, being invited to perform at One Love Manchester, supporting Ariana Grande, performing at Madison Square Garden, that X Factor performance....:o (But these videos need to stop with the 15 second clips of their music videos, it's getting on my tits)

Has the Norton performance done anything for the song?

They deserve it but ugh, I've said this before but the music industry has changed so much since they debuted that I truly think they're the last ever big Western girl group. It's too difficult to launch pop groups nowadays and reality TV shows don't have the same impact they used to either. I feel like once they split it could be years (probably a decade) before we even get another top 10 from a girl group again. :(

Oh please no. Unless they're throwing in Frankie or Una (they had a fued with him) then I don't see what he'd bring at all - he's horrible.

I doubt people will actually care enough to boo her. I hope they wouldn't do that. It'll most likely be complete indifference.

Confetti Tour • 2022
I can't find the tour thread but Jade said there's about 22 songs on the setlist including a medley and No Time For Tears is being performed. Surely it's a No Time For Tears/Only You/Heartbreak Anthem medley and they're not doing it in full?

I mean, she is way too big for the show but let's not pretend she wouldn't be an absolute riot and win the thing. She's got the personality to win people over easily.

Little Mix • Off-Topic Chat
I know it's not important but the girls are being absolutely torn apart on Facebook comments underneath media pieces about the blackfishing. I'm seeing alot of 'liked' comments implying Jesy was bullied by the other three and that they're 'mean girls'. It's a bit sad seeing all these Facebook Mums turning on them with this crap.

Rizzle Kicks - Javelin
Down With The Trumpets and Travellers Chant were great songs. Mama Do The Hump was annoying as f***.

I'm screaming that I've just found out what Nicki says at the end of the song - It's Nicki and Jesy He love me and plus he Ready to knock a motherf***er out just to impress me (woo) Ah we love a song celebrating violence don't we?

When is the line-up announced? So bored of endless 'rumours' on every social media channel with about 50 possible names.

I also thought her swearing was misguided too. It was probably to ditch the 'girl group' image further but doing it in front of Dame Judi Dench was a bit mortifying, particularly the F bomb.

The lip syncing was so bad. The problem with dancing so much to intense choreography like that (which, I'll give her credit for, was impressive) is that it makes it so much more obvious you're miming because it's impossible to sing well while moving like that. I think it would have been better if she sang the verses live and done a couple ad-libs at the end and just mimed the chorus (basically like Little Mix performances) other than fully miming. I also did cringe badly at the sort of gangster posing she did during Nicki's rap. As for the interview I think she did come across pretty well other than the 'bad blood' comment. I did find it a bit sort of sad for her that Graham was already sort of implying there could be a reunion in future and she done that 'who knows/never say never' type answer. She's only on her first single ffs. I can't see it doing anything for the song whatsoever but it might have helped some people warm to her and shifted some of the awful PR she's had so far I guess. Edit - Actually just noticed she said she absolutely loved her time in Little Mix yet she was saying in other interviews she was miserable?

People (me) aren't coming here to 'hate on Jesy!!!1'. I came here to see any updates about the song and performance and found your earlier post ridiculous so called you out. *shrugs*

Umm. No. Saying 'there's no blood from my side' to imply that the only reason they aren't talking is due to the girls and not her is gross. Her team know exactly what they're doing with these statements. I get the fact it's Graham Norton and it's a light hearted chat show with other guests and she's probably only interviewed for like 3 minutes but it's reinforcing this victim narrative that she has. She loves them so much she sat back and laughed as Nicki Minaj dissed Leigh in front of 100K viewers. She acknowledges it's 'sad' but doesn't recognize/admit that the whole situation is because of her ignorance and blackfishing.

Meh. These YouTube videos could be alot more interesting but they're like 3 mins long and half the videos are just the music videos playing.

Squid Game
It definitely peaked with the marbles episode. To be honest I've been following alot of Reddit episode discussions and alot of people did predict that the old guy would be involved in everything so I did see the twist coming but the execution was very limp and underwhelming. It felt like the end of a Saw movie honestly. I also was a bit confused with his role in everything - did he come up with the whole game and create everything himself? Just because life is boring as a rich old person? Also it was very convenient for the plot that he wasn't in the losing team for Tug of War or he'd have died. The side characters definitely made the show though. The girl who sacrificed herself for the other girl had me in tears. Overall it was a really enjoyable show that definitely peaked in the middle (the first episode until Red Light, Green Light and the 2nd episode were a snooze) but I'm sort of numb to these 'games til the death' type shows and was really hoping there'd be a better twist. (and the police officer was HOT AS f***) Same here!! 'Clues that you missed that showed 001 was behind it' or something. So f***ing annoying. i'm sick of spoilers being plastered all over social media within a few weeks of a show being posted. Give people time to watch it!

It's just all very superficial, dated and stereotypical. What is a bad boy? Based on the video it seems like she's implying in order to be a bad boy you just have to be black and from 'the hood'. It's funny because her exes were literally the guy from Rixton and Chris Hughes so she can't really say she's always been into bad boys. Never mind the fact that celebrating 'bad boys' (in a sense of them being criminals/aggressive/horrible people) in 2021 is just so cringey. Oh and the fact that this was her debut single and had a year to come up with an amazing song to launch herself and all she wanted to say to express herself was 'I fancy bad boys teehee x'.

Jesy & Nicki Minaj instagram live
Lol. It's bizarre to me that people are actually supporting Jesy and think anyone who criticises her or points out that she's flopping is a 'hater!!'. You sound exactly like her. This isn't a Jesy Nelson Appreciation Thread. It's a thread to discuss the song and the chart performance of it is going to be one of the key discussions here. If I want to come here and point out that she's flopping then I will. It doesn't make me a hater. I don't even hate Jesy. I think she's been really stupid lately and i hope this backfires completely on her and she acknowledges and apologizes about what she's done - does that mean I hate her? The song isn't doing well. It's out of the Spotify top 50 already, it's YouTube views have slowed down dramatically, it's falling on all metrics and this is supposed to be the big launch single leading to more singles and an album. How is it much of an achievement that it went top 5 it's debut week when everyone in the UK clearly checked it out of interest/curiosity and then abandoned it the next weeks when they realised how f***ing awful it is? If you want to celebrate that meaningless arbitary number 5 chart position then do it, but don't act like anyone coming here and telling you that it will be remembered as a huge flop and an embarrassment of a release in future is only doing so because you think they're some 12 year old who genuinely cares enough to have hatred towards a stranger. Can I ask you what exactly her appeal is that makes you root for her so much? I don't get it. She threw Leigh-Anne under a bus and laughed as she was insulted by Nicki on an Instagram Live with 100K people watching, ignored all requests by Leigh to stop blackfishing, failed to support Leigh's documentary about racism, completely copied and pasted Diddy's song AND video offering nothing unique or creative and then she blocks anyone who calls her out and insists they're only doing so because they're jealous. What exactly is it that you're supporting her for? Fair enough if you like the song and think it's a bop but to actually be so adamant that she's completely in the right and think she deserves success after her behaviour is so strange to me. People who show toxic and awful behaviour do not deserve to be celebrated. Your loyalty should be towards Leigh and the other girls here.

When is she on Norton? Feels like this song is dead already and it's only been out for 3 weeks.
