Lady Gaga's video for Judas will premiere on 5th May on American Idol :w00t: That's 6th May UK pace :D
Meh. The video for 'Born This Way' only boosted it up a few places on iTunes and that was hyped up far more than Judas is.
The video will need to be spectacular to have any sort of huge effect on the songs chart performance. If it's another black and white/self righteous/10 minute/weird movie (AGAIN) then it'll probably not have much effect.

I hate songs like Party Rock Anthem. I hate the structure to them. The stupid little spoken phrase followed by a bit of party music, complete with dire lyrics and the fact the song just doesn't go anywhere. Riverside, We No Speak Americano, The Time (Dirty Bit) and other songs like that do my head in. They sound good at parties but that's it, they're just popular for a few weeks and then they start to dire and sound really old when the next party song comes along. :(

I seriously can't get enough of this song. So catchy. Hope it does well in the UK 'cos it flopped in the US. :(
And on another note, she needs to ditch the shades, she's sooooooo much hotter without them.

E.T did really well, but it DID have a Kayne West remix and a massive video. LFN probably won't have such a big video and I doubt she'll cash in another rapper for it.
I can see it going at #9 or something in the US but stalling at #11 here in the UK (always happens). Either way it's going to end several of her streaks (4 #1's in US and NZ, and 4 top 3's in the UK). I doubt it'll sell that much albums either.

I loved 'Animal' but it was very hit and miss. The title track was FANTASTIC, and Take It Off/Your Love Is My Drug/TiK ToK/Kiss And Tell/Dancing With Tears In My Eyes/Blind/Hungober were pretty good but Boots And Boys/Dinosaur/Blah Blah Blah/Stephen/VIP were dreadful.
We R Who We R is a great track but Blow doesn't go anywhere and will probably get really stale when the next single is out (if there is one).
And she needs to release a ballad. Animal/Cannibal hasn't even sold 200K yet and that's with TiK ToK selling 700K and the other three singles going top 15, plus WRWWR being a #1.

Remember 'Bad Romance' didn't explode right out of the gate either! And that was on iTunes really early too. I wouldn't worry at all.
Bad Romance was a MUCH better song, and had an X-Factor performance.
Judas is a very pale imitation of BR and there's nothing for Gaga to promote it on. Born This Way was her first single from the album and yet that only went to #3 even though it had far more hype than Judas. The video for BTW only boosted it up five places on iTunes and kinda stablised it a bit, it didn't have much of a big effect at all.
I can see Judas peaking at #5 or something.

Didn't Born This Way's video only boost the song up from #8 to #3 on iTunes?
Saying that, the video for Born This Way was was dire. Maybe if she makes a normal video (which she won't, I can tell by the name of the song and the lyrics that it'll be another black and white/holy/self indulgent/over the top 'Alejandro'/'Born This Way' type video :() she would stand a chance.

Considering she would have to give up May - December for all the auditions, bootcamp, judges houses and live shows PLUS be a mentor to four contestants which would involve her spending time with them, going to rehearsals and soundchecks PLUS go to all X-Factor related press conferences, photoshoots, interviews I doubt this would happen with the Sats about to release an album and go on their first arena tour.
Plus, she's not really big enough to join the show anyway.
