  1. So is a single being released from it?
  2. This is going to be such a massive release. Easy million seller at some point.
  3. Weird 'Love Me Like You' has been dropped from setlists since like 2016 and they also ignore it from a Greatest Hits - it's almost on 900K and well recieved amongst fans?
  4. I genuinely thought their career was over after Salute, then I thought they had sort of lost support/fans/relevance after their 2019 underperformances and then I thought they'd lose momentum after Jesy left but they just CONSTANTLY win. In ten years the only 'flops' they had were a Christmas single and a charity single. A straight run of Platinum singles from summer 2014 (Salute) until winter 2018 (Woman Like Me) is f***ing incredible. Sometimes I can't believe how lucky we as fans are to witness so much success. There's so much to celebrate.
  5. I feel for Anne-Marie but this song really is getting lost in amongst Heartbreak Anthem/Little Mix celebrating their anniversary.
  6. Greatest Hits on Disc 1 and album tracks on Disc 2? The standard edition only has one disc so can't see it being a new studio album.
  7. I suspect Break Up Song wasn't included because of the video was awful or there was no 'iconic' imagery from it to use.
  8. Songs missing from that Instagram montage - Break Up Song (weird?), Bounce Back, Only You, Reggaeton Lento (weird?), Little Me, Change Your Life and Cannonball.
  9. Cases went up by a THIRD in Scotland. :( And this is before the impact of schools going back properly kicks in. it's really disheartening that with 40 million in the UK double jabbed there's still hundreds of daily deaths and cases are still skyrocketing. The fact that it's still summer makes it even more worrying because how much worse will it get in the autumn and winter?
  10. I find it hilarious how Nicki unfollowed the main Little Mix account and Jesy/Jade/Leigh last year (but still follows Perrie) and now she's following Jesy again.
  11. Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks. :)
  12. Why does anything need to be cut? Surely the more singles = more streams = more sales? Even shit like Bounce Back and Change Your Life will still boost the sales. Just throw every single on it and rack up that future million seller sales.
  13. I still have my concerns about overexposure with the amount of material they've released this year but I'm excited for this. I imagine (hope?) it's lyrically about all the times they were told to 'be something different' over the years from record labels and men in suits and them saying no.
  14. (I kinda feel a September single release might be overkill. That would essentially be No Time For Tears, Sweet Melody, Confetti, Heartbreak Anthem, Kiss My (Uh Oh) and a new single within 9 months lol)
  15. I know this is a maybe useless comparison but while we're on the subject of ex-girl group members being problematic at least Camila went to classes to actually educate herself and acknowledged her racism (obviously much worse than Jesy's situation but still). If someone wants to educate themselves they'll do it. There's no excuse for Jesy blocking people and refusing to admit she's made mistakes.
  16. I asked this a while back because I also didn't understand it. To my understanding it's essentially that white artists can take aspects of black culture and adjust their image to look more racially ambiguous (grills, tan, wigs, clothing) and go for the whole 'urban' thing and it's seen as cool and edgy and a fashion statement but they can erase it all when they're bored and go back to looking like a white person whenever they want. Again it's more about self awareness and reading the room - especially with everything Leigh spoke about in her documentary and everything her and Jade have mentioned about their experiences with racism since Little Mix were formed. With black artists it seems they have to straighten their hair/bleach their skin to look more European and 'accessible' by the GP. Alexandra Burke was told to bleach her skin after X-Factor and a ton of other black artists spoke out last summer about their experiences in the industry. I still am learning about the subject myself but I can definitely understand how Jesy's blackfishing is a problem and how it would irritate the other girls. Hell, even MNEK (who produced half their discography) has been indicating on social media he's unhappy with Jesy and doesn't approve so f*** knows what the other girls actually think.

  18. Thing with Jesy is that she's been problematic for years. Remember when she was constantly recording herself on Instagram listening to R. Kelly (the same time his documentary dropped??) and then when she got criticised for it she carried on by listening to Chris Brown instead. It doesn't make her a bad person but it just shows either a complete lack of self awareness or sheer arrogance and an idea that she'll 'do what she wants' and anyone who speaks against her is a 'hater'. I have every sympathy for her with her body image issues (honestly, I do) and think she's very talented and I wish she stayed in Little Mix but I feel like her solo career is something she'll regret. She simply cannot handle criticism. It's a shame because the other girls were literally in tears on her documentary about how much they loved her and wanted to protect her from everything and it's just such a....waste that it's come to this. Three girls are still together and winning Brit Awards, racking up more and more hit singles and riding a wave of public goodwill and establishing themselves as proper legends in the industry and Jesy is about to release a song with Nicki at the worst possible time of her career (Nicki's) and is already getting called out and attention on her for blackfishing and her attitude towards Little Mix.
  19. I hope she flops. Sorry. The blackfishing is gross, especially when Leigh literally made a f***ing documentary about it.
  20. (As before with Jesy I really think although it's obviously not her intention, it's just so 'off' to have Nicki Minaj on your debut single when that was a Little Mix running theme for years that they all adored her, wanted to have her on a song and their first performance together was Super Bass and then Woman Like Me happened. There wasn't any other rappers?)
  21. Is this likely to be a hit then? It seems to have debuted around the top 50 area of all major markets.
  22. Jesy featuring Nicki Minaj is absolutely incredible but also so messy if true.
  23. Cool. Thanks so much for your fast response. :)
  24. The fact streaming dominates the charts these days and songs have insanely long chart runs makes it even harder to get top 10 singles nowadays. If anything it's more impressive that Little Mix have managed to be such a success and earn that place on the list considering previous groups were ALWAYS guaranteed a top ten single by holding their song back for 2 - 3 months. There was also the advantage of Girls Aloud (etc) that they could promote their singles on multiple TV shows a week and get multiple boosts in sales each time. In 2021 TV performances have little impact on the charts and there's nothing to promote on besides late night talk shows. Gone are the days of appearing on morning shows like GMTV and This Morning or lunchtime shows like Alan Titchmarsh and stuff like Blue Peter/CD:UK etc. Of course every group has had their struggles within their 'era' but I'd definitely say it's harder to get a top 10 single nowadays. If this was the sales/iTunes/CD era then Little Mix would probably have had more number 1 singles and songs like Love Me Like You/Hair/No More Sad Songs/Change Your Life would all have been easy top 10's as well.
  25. Anyone know how quickly the virus shows up in tests? I got back from London yesterday and tonight I feel a bit rubbish (bit of a cough, general fatigue and slight breathlessness) but I tested negative on the home tests yesterday and today. I ordered a PCR test just to be sure but I can't seem to actually find any guidance online as to how quickly it would show up and if testing at this stage is pointless or not?
