  1. 2020 was a great year for them, nah? Reviving their commercial popularity, three hit singles, a TV show, tons of hilarious YouTube content and amazing performances plus a hit album and strong tracks. Really the only lacklustre part of their career was from the Brits 2019 until Break Up Song was released.
  2. Yeah, I really can't see another girl group ever achieving what Little Mix have done. They're probably the most successful girl group in British history in terms of the complete package of longevity, discography, album sales, singles sales and tours. Once they split up I really, really (sadly) can't see another girl group capturing the attention of the British public for anything more than one album. It's too difficult in the streaming era to launch pop groups and they're becoming increasingly outdated and 'cheesy', especially girl groups. Fifth Harmony and Little Mix were lucky they were launched on X-Factor and at a time when reality TV shows were still relevant. I hope LM continue for as long as possible because I feel like they might be the last group we'll have for a long time.
  3. Ahh, I did not know that. Thank you. :D
  4. I don't think she is? She's using terms 'silver' and 'gold'?
  5. YErMDaydU0s Dead at Perrie saying 'we have five Silvers and one Gold'. Someone needs to show them this thread. They didn't even know Black Magic was number 1. :P
  6. It's weird they got so high on Spotify with those songs but even their biggest one only made the top ten officially in a few markets (UK, Australia, New Zealand)? But it's bloody AMAZING that ten years into their career with a member down and two members in the middle of a pregnancy and things looking like they would be a 'local act' from now on, they get an effortless smash like this. Their career continues to astound me.
  7. HOW are people voting Power, Move and Break Up Song over....Salute???
  8. 600 sales behind number 3 in the midweeks, and 12K behind number 2.
  9. (Still manifesting a number 1 when Olivia hits ACR )
  10. Salute purely because I feel like the other songs have better verses/hooks. Salute is just essentially the same lyrics repeated over and over for the whole song.
  11. Is this still looking like it'll be an actual hit in other countries at this point? It's still been stable obviously but it's been 6 weeks and still hasn't even cracked the top 50 of most markets. I've never really tracked a songs progress worldwide before (my faves are all local ) so maybe this is just normal for songs to take this long?

A song called 'Glitterball' is on Mollie's discography page for 2021.
  13. Surely that must hit ACR soon?
  14. Wasn't it performed as a medley with Touch on that tour??
  15. Since it's obviously not a number 1 contender anymore I guess the goal is to go top three at least so I hope they manage it!
  16. DNA. Too early in their career to be amazing.

To me that just shows how little replayability it has for even hardcore Saturdays fans. I think I listened to it three times in the seven years it's been released. Aside from What About Us (which is still one of their weakest singles), Disco Love, the single mix of Not Giving Up and MAYBE You Don't Have The Right/Leave A Light On it's such a mess of overproduced, American pandering, autotuned demo sounding rejects with awful lyrics.
  18. https://vimeo.com/189323995
  19. DNA. I don't think their performances of it were particularly interesting. *shrugs* I like the middle 8 but the song is just an E.T rip off. Reggeaton Lento is an absolute bop so I'm shocked it's got so many votes.
  20. Cannonball will eventually be Platinum at some point too, surely? It's only 52K away and the last update was six months ago. Throw in Break Up Song, Heartbreak Anthem and probably Confetti (at some point) and that would be 19 Platinum singles which would surely make them the most Platinum certified British act in history (if they're not already)? Or has Ed f***ing Sheeran beat them to that? Edit - Yeah, he has 26 Platinum singles. I hate him. And a disturbing amount of them are 2x and 3x Platinum.

Has there even been a pop group that HASN'T ever got back together? It seems like The Saturdays might be the only ones in history. Girls Aloud, Spice Girls, Sugababes/MKS, JLS, Westlife, All Saints, Pussycat Dolls, Take That, Busted, S Club 7, Steps.... I know it's only been seven years but there isn't even a slight hint that it's even been a discussion for them.
  22. Nothing Else Matters wasn't a single. It had a cute tour video for YouTube but that's it.
  23. HOW does KSI pull in so much streams? These straight men just have it so easy for doing the bare minimum...

I like it...but it's way too short. It's too cynical and engineered for Spotify repeat listens that it sorta dampens it for me.
