  1. Guys what does the VIP Package entail? I can't seem to find any specifics on my phone? I've never actually saw them live and I low key think this will be their last tour.....until their reunion tour with Jesy in about 5 years.
  2. All the girls sound amazing but Perrie is just....out of this world. No hyperbole but I genuinely think if she ever had a solo career she'd be considered on the same level as Adele (who she's better than anyway, but in the eyes of the GP she's the only 'real singer' in Britain) and Christina/Leona. The Honest Vocal Coach reacted to that performance and said she thinks these girls are the best girl group vocalists ever and I agree with her. HOW do they do it? The timing, the harmonies, the chemistry, the transitions....just PERFECT?
  3. Hmm. I do love Leigh and won't ever doubt that she's genuinely suffering from being known as 'the black one' and there was definitely those microaggressions in the X-Factor/DNA eras in terms of her styling but that segment with Emma Willis where they picked 3 fans to choose a favourite was a reach. In that case someone is always going to miss out if there's 4 girls and 3 fans. I've already saw people pointing that out on social media and it's pretty fair.
  4. Aside from Dua and Calvin (who is definitely there for his monster single success in the early century) that's a really beige list. HOW do people listen to songs by Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith and not fall asleep?
  5. Do featured acts on dance tracks really do much promo anyway? Surely it's just about recording a video and then the song being sent to radio/added to playlists? What does he expect them to do?
  6. I LOVED the speech. It was so classy and I love how they actually made the effort to plan it in advance and thank as many people as possible. Does anyone remember that time The Arctic Monkeys won an award a few years back (maybe best Group or best Album?) and their speech was so f***ing arrogant and insulting? They acted like they thought the award was beneath them.
  7. I NEED TO SEE A VIDEO ON YOUTUBE NOW
  8. Wow they look amazing. Who would have thought six months ago the Brits would roll around and they'd be a 3 piece with two members pregnant on the red carpet??
  9. I don't know about the other groups but Young T and Bugsy are also on the red carpet. Anyone know if the other groups are there?
  10. If Young T and Bugsy win (as much as I love them) for doing f*** all in 2020 besides drop an album on streaming sites then that's seriously wrong. I don't think they did ANYTHING the entire year - even their only hit single was released at the end of 2019 and only picked up because of Tik Tok.
  11. I really can't see The 1975 winning again. They won in 2017 and 2019 (both times Little Mix were nominated) however they did get a #1 album that went Gold and a hit single. It would be a bit of an uproar if these guys won again in particular. Biffy Clyro also got a #1 album and a couple of top 40 hits HOWEVER they've never won Best Group either (only been nominated twice). :( I've never heard of Bicep but they did get a #2 album. They haven't had any top 40 singles from it however they could be a winner just for the shock/WTF/'credible' drama. Young T and Bugsy have no chance - they only had one hit single in 2020 which was purely because of Tik Tok. Their album missed the top 40 and they aren't a touring act or have much of a fanbase BUT they did get a hit in America which would make them the only group in the category to have done so. I don't think any of them had any cultural impact or been newsworthy in the last year and none of them have had a single anywhere near as big as any of the Confetti ones. Little Mix have every box ticked - hit singles (Platinum #1 and three top 15's that will all be Gold inevitably), hit album (#2 and still in the top 40), a Saturday night TV show on BBC One, numerous televised TV performances that were amazing (Touch on One World, Live Lounge, Strictly, The Search, Jonathan Ross, EMA's) and Jesy leaving was one of the biggest entertainment stories of the year plus Leigh and Perrie got over 2 million Likes on Instagram with their pregnancy announcements and a girl group has never won the award. There is so much momentum for the girls right now and while I can't say I care that much about an award, it would definitely be underwhelming and a missed opportunity to award it to a male 'rock' group again.
  12. I never really expected this to be anything other than a cute Gold top 20 hit so I'm not really bothered about how it performs.
  13. I'm enjoying the memes that are coming out of this. Also it's really nice to see so much positivity and media attention about them lately. You can tell ever since The Search that the UK have definitely embraced them as legends at this point and there's so much affection towards them. My sister isn't a HUGE fan but even she shared something about it on her Facebook. I'd love them to carry on forever but I guess it's fair to say that things will at the very least slow down from here in terms of Little Mix.
  14. I thought this when I saw the video of them doing the 100 song lyric challenge but didn’t wanna say anything. Amazing news.
  15. Speaking as someone who was obsessed with Season 1 and 2 of Prison Break I couldn't even understand the f***ing plot by the time it got to Season 4. I know they brought out a Season 5 but I haven't watched it yet so it doesn't count (although I heard it sucks anyway ). I know there's more to the story than the actual prison breakout and being on the run but it got way too political and complex as it went on and I felt kinda stupid that I couldn't keep up with it.
  16. The way they continue to be relevant on streaming, sales, airplay, YouTube etc after ten years. Amazing.
  17. We don't know anything about Jesy's health other than what she has told the public - she has never once labelled herself as having BDD and it's insensitive to just pick and choose random illnesses to attribute to her based on a documentary and some interviews. Quite obvious she has suffered mentally since joining Little Mix but illnesses like BDD are extremely serious and it's not up to fans to decide if she has it or not. Guess what? You can support Jesy and wish her well and agree that the abuse she's had is disgusting and think her documentary was very brave and inspirational AND also agree that her behaviour since leaving Little Mix has been odd. Chill the f*** out.
  18. This is gross.
  19. This is so bizarre. I doubt they are performing but her Mum saying that makes it odd - if they weren’t performing she surely would have confirmed it was fake?
  20. A reminder that someone commenting 'that sucks' or 'it's a shame it dropped' on Spotify isn't 'dramatic'. *shrugs* I swear there's never actually been anyone giving a shit about their chart positions lately yet anytime a single is released there's the same old jokes and statements about people being 'hysterical' and 'overdramatic'.
  21. She unfollowed family members/relations of the other girls on social media after she left. No big deal, but it contradicts the idea that she only left because she was being compared to the other three girls. What does their family members have to do with that? She didn't acknowledge the fans getting Always Be Together to #1 on iTunes as a tribute/goodbye for her. She didn't acknowledge Sweet Melody going to #1. Referring to the girls as 'the other three' throughout her Cosmo interview. She left them at a time when they had an EMA's hosting gig, EMA's performance, a TV show launched by the BBC, a single and an album release week. Reposting that video of the magazine thing when Little Mix are clearly visible underneath. None of this makes her the 'villain' here. None of it is essentially 'wrong', but after seeing how much the other girls cared for her and loved her (jeez, they were in literal tears on her documentary) and how they've had to take on an extra workload because of her leaving suddenly it just looks very odd and shady that she's going on about how much happier she is away from them and how her life in Little Mix was 'miserable'. She also is well aware of the fact that fans are picking up on all this stuff since she's blocking them on social media. Just all very weird.
  22. Regardless of whether it was shade or not, she REALLY needs better PR. Everything she's posted/said since the split has been ever so slightly shady whether she means it or not. It's not a good look for her. (Again, I'm not saying it's intentional, but Twitter/Facebook/Instagram comments are quite negative against her with this sort of stuff and the comments about her being 'miserable' in Little Mix etc)
  23. They're definitely not performing now. The Weeknd has been announced so I guess they saved the best til last. :( Real shame.
  24. I searched her name on Facebook to see what the general reaction from the public has been to her statements and it seems pretty negative. I feel like she needs much better PR if she’s going to try win the casuals and Mixers over.
  25. It’s none of our business. We know nothing and can’t make assumptions. She maybe didn’t want to comment on the girls because it would probably overshadow the rest of the interview and create headlines that she didn’t want. I’m not the biggest Jesy fan but all four girls are being very professional and formal about it and that’s good enough for me.
