  1. It charted at #23 as a promo track I think but unsure if this will be counted as a re-entry or new entry?
  2. How do you check the Apple Music charts?
  3. (I wonder if Jesy had a stipulation that this had to be a single or something? Isn’t she the only Little Mix member with a credit? Would explain why it’s being released so late and why it was chosen at all....)
  4. I'm listening to their albums for the first time ever. :D
  5. Yeah, I remember the screenshots of their Whatsapp chat saying they needed to improve the drop, change the lyrics and get Nicki on board before the release but it's funny hearing them still say it in 2021 even though it was a smash. (I know I've said this a million times but I still cannot believe after dominating the UK for two years with pop/electro/tropical bangers their label decided to not only look at a Jess Glynne midtempo demo...but actually wrestle it from her and force Little Mix to release it as the lead single from their big comeback  It's too low for Jesy and Leigh to sing their verses, too high for Jade and Perrie's chorus, too fast to be considered a ballad but too slow for proper choreography and to be a bop and sonically is like nothing else in their entire discography. You can come at me with it's huge sales figures but the fact the huge comeback after Glory Days stalled at #2 during a dead release period and still hasn't crossed a million units after being performed on X-Factor, Strictly, Brit Awards, Michael McIntyre, Global Awards, the LM5 tour and being released two and a half years ago shows it was still a weak choice as a single and something like Wasabi would probably have been an easy #1 x)
  6. They pretty much admitted they only got on board with Woman Like Me because of Nicki.
  7. 1. Confetti - Break Up Song and Sweet Melody are top 5 Little Mix. In fact, I'd still say the latter is probably the best song of their entire career. Holiday was a bop and Confetti is also pretty good. 2. Get Weird - I LOVED how they kept the high school/college theme for Black Magic and Love Me Like You videos, both of those songs were amazing and Secret Love Song is 'the' ballad of their career. They'll never have another ballad to replace it on the setlists. Hair sucked, though. 3. Glory Days - I never liked No More Sad Songs much and Shout Out To My Ex is mostly amazing besides the second verse which really drags on forever. Power and Touch are also top 5 Little Mix, though. Reggeaton was also a huge bop. 4. DNA - Four perfectly decent songs with decent videos. Nothing amazing but a good start to their career. 5 LM5 - Woman Like Me is THE MOST BIZARRE SINGLE CHOICE IN HISTORY and Think About Us was a bop but overall really underwhelming era.
  8. The YouTube views are actually pretty encouraging considering it's a post album release.

Oh definitely, I just mean it's a shame in comparison to how they were doing a few years ago. They deserve to be so much bigger.
  10. Kelly Clarkson, Carly Rae Jepsen and McFly have done these before btw. I love watching them. Truly fascinating sometimes. :D Anyways no real surprises for me. I like that they can still remember their older album tracks and that they have good taste for the most part. (Mess @ Leigh asking if Touch was a #1 single though!
  11. Sigh. What's not clicking with record labels in 2021 that they are STILL inserting breaks of dialogue and silence in the middle of music videos? It completely kills the momentum and puts people off replaying it or adding it to playlists. It wasn't funny or interesting. However the girls are on top form! Every move and lip sync was over the top and 100% energy and charisma. They look amazing, the rap verse was so much better than I was expecting and while initially I thought it looked pretty cheap, by the end I could definitely see some budget and effort was invested into it. It's still a bit of a pointless release and underwhelming considering it's a follow up to Sweet Melody and their first single without Jesy but I can see it being a Gold selling top 20 hit maybe?

Apparently they got played on Radio 1 yesterday with 'Switching Sides'. I feel bad for them them that they actually posted on Instagram about it...
  13. I sadly don't think Confetti will really be that interesting live, though. It's more chilled out and laid back than their usual stuff and I can't imagine them being able to do much with it choreography wise whereas with Sweet Melody you can easily see them with fire, water, choreography, darkness, warehouse staging etc.
  14. To be honest I'd rather see a big performance of Sweet Melody (or a medley with Break Up Song/Confetti) than them win an award. Is that bad?
  15. Pink, Rag N' Bone Man and Olivia Rodrigo have been confirmed as well. Saving the best for last? :(
  16. What is with them releasing these dance collabs at the worst times? 'Only You' was their first single since their Glory Days era and took away some of the buzz that Woman Like Me would have generated, 'No Time For Teams' was released like a fortnight after their Confetti album in the midst of Sweet Melody promo and now they're releasing this a few weeks after their first single as a three piece. It's such bad and awkward timing.
  17. It's certified Platinum now. :D Sweet Melody is just the perfect storm of being an amazing, exciting song and one of the best of their careers and also completely reigniting public interest in them after a lukewarm couple of years commercially. The fact it was their last single with Jesy (and she closed the song with her 'on and on' part while also opening Wings) and it was a number 1 single and the first 'proper' one of the year 2021 which began their tenth year as a girl group just made it so special. It'll probably reach a million at some point and be amongst their biggest sellers and it's so well deserved. You couldn't ask for a better outcome. My only gripe is that it never got performed with all four members. :(
  18. This is definitely just to keep tour tickets selling. They aren't aiming for a smash hit with this. It'll probably go top 20 for one week and get a Silver certification and they'll appear at the end of the year with a new song.
  19. Headie One, Arlo Parks and Griff.
  20. I hope they'll be announces as performers. It looks like a really weak line up so far. :(
  21. I sometimes watch one of the later seasons and always think of it as 'fairly recent' then I remember they were filmed in like 2002 and 2003 and it's 2021. Even the likes of Season 4 and 5 seem like they were much more recent culturally and fashion wise than the late 90's in which they were filmed. When you see Season 1 and 2 you notice how old fashioned everything is, though.
  22. The longer this is dragged out the more pointless it seems. A new comeback single as a trio right now would have been perfect timing.

I really think a 1 hour tribute for her on Channel 4 or something would be a huge ratings hit and do much for awareness towards anorexia?
  24. I'll give Zoe Alexander a miss considering she claimed they Photoshopped her Dad on stage with her at her audition.

Pete posted a video on Instagram and I found it difficult to keep watching. :( I was obsessed with Season 7 of Big Brother and in fact I've re-watched it multiple times. It was lightning in a bottle as far as reality TV goes. There will never be anything like it. It was the peak of the show and changed the format and behaviour of contestants completely (mostly because people kept copying Nikki's tantrums in the Diary Room). Whenever I watch it back I just think how perfect it was. A bunch of strangers thrown together to live for 13 weeks in a tiny house with cameras on them 24/7 and yet so many friendships and so much genuine affection exists between them even after 14 years. It's beautiful. Nikki was of course the star of the show. She was completely genuine in her first stint and was incredibly brave to show so much emotion and have those tantrums on TV when everyone else was so worried about how they'd be portrayed, she didn't give a f***. She admitted she was over the top and dramatic but I remember her genuinely caring about contestants like Sam and Susie even though the former was extremely awkward and intrusive and the latter put her up for eviction. She wasn't perfect but she is THE reality TV star. There will never be another reality TV series like Big Brother 2006 and nobody will have the same impact on the public like Nikki Grahame did. (On a personal note this has really hit me. It's weird when someone from your childhood that you grow up watching passes away, especially as I re-watch the show so many times you always think the Housemates are immortal and will live forever and then you remember it's been 14 years and they're human just like us)
