  1. I saw someone describe it as ABBA sounding and I totally agree with that. It really did give me big pop vibes.
  2. @1792007623362924639 @1792514007833661519 @1794712016772551045 @1793956148753596786 @1793045456294912444 @1792686335020744913 @1794010321000050774
  3. The song takes wayyyy too long to get going. The verses are so wordy and clunky and then the beat doesn't start for ages.
  4. I love all the viral videos of Cheryl and Nadine interacting. They have such a fascinating dynamic together.
  5. Ren up to 19 again. Campaign seems to be doing okay I guess. :/ If anyone has a spare 59p please consider downloading, it's really for such a good cause. :(
  6. Does the 'gift' function on iTunes count as a sale? If so, how many of them count?

Hey guys, there's a new campaign to boost Ren's song 'Troubles' back up the charts by the ME/Lyme community. If anyone has a spare 59p would you mind downloading it tomorrow (Thursday) night? It may not do much but I guess iTunes sales are low and he's currently still in the top 40 anyway but yeah, the song and the work Ren does is extremely important for many people (ME/CFS is such a horrific illness) and this would be a nice way to finish the overall Awareness Week where we've had billboards put up, media attention, protests, petitions and conferences looking for a treatment. If you're on Twitter and want to just help spread the word or whatever here's the post about it - https://x.com/AaronCa11/status/1790873698804576602

  9. I really miss them. They had EVERYTHING - vocals, choreography, bops, massive success, hilarious personalities, industry respect and longevity. We'll never have a girlband again to have 10 years straight of commercial success like them. :(
  10. Good to see. Hope it can scrape a Silver certification at least.
  11. Nice to see Ren doing well. ME/CFS has pushed a few people I know to suicide/euthanesia and is criminally underfunded and needs way more urgent research. I understand he released ‘Troubles’ for Awareness Month so I would love to see it somehow make top 40 officially although extremely unlikely…

pt7Bpy27d1M He has ME/CFS and Lyme so this really means alot to me as I suffer from Long Covid and have friends very, very ill with ME/CFS.
  13. I don't understand why the other two couldn't just get an album out if they wanted to. They came from the biggest girl group since the Spice Girls and have been in the industry for over a decade....couldn't they just ensure their contract stipulates they release an album? Or release it independently? How can two members of Little Mix essentially have as little power and struggles to get an album out? The fact we're even wondering if Perrie, a 3rd member of the group, could even get an album out after a top ten single debut is crazy.
  14. That was such a fun watch. She is insanely likeable!!
  15. I miss the days when pop stars would be on every TV show possible promoting their single, doing CD signings at HMV, being EVERYWHERE. Now it's just adding it to Spotify, going to Capital for an interview and doing some Tik Toks. :/
  16. It's wild how much public opinion of her and her career has changed since late 2017/early 2018 when Havana and her debut album became a global number 1 and it looked like the birth of a new megastar.
  17. To be fair to the girls they were together for 11 years and spent all of their late teens and 20's together. I don't blame them for wanting to just do something else in life for a while and write their own music that they can sing by themselves and release their own album (lol) etc. There's plenty of time to go back to Little Mix. They could tour together in their 40's and 50's due to how big their back catalogue is. Let them get the solo career itch out of their system and enjoy doing something different for a while. They were probably the longest running group without a line-up change or any massive breaks (Take That) ever, right? Non stop recording, promoting and touring since they won X-Factor til like mid 2021.
  18. I don't think any of them were ever going to have multiple albums and tours but I thought Perrie at least would have managed a proper hit single. She's really popular. I really do think the underperformance is more of a reflection of the song than anything else. I was excited for her debut but I've only played the song twice so she's already missed out on dozens of streams from a hardcore fan like me for example and I'd imagine there's other stans who think the song is just crap too.
  19. I don’t understand why, in 2024, people still think people give a f*** that Ed Sheeran wrote their song for them. He’s been writing songs for other artists for over a decade now. I remember One Direction fans getting excited cos he wrote Little Things back in 2012 ffs. Ed Sheeran writing your song really isn’t that exciting or special, and what is this weird presumption that people ‘should’ care because he wrote it anyway? There’s tons of talented writers out there who can write hits. The grip he has on the music industry is weird. He’s given her such a boring song and probably killed her career before it even started.
  20. I think the chart position is a reflection of the song quality. There was alot of interest in Perrie’s debut and the Spotify debut was impressive but it’s kinda obvious people are bored of the song and haven’t added it to their playlists or got it on repeat. She’s lucky she got a top ten at least but the next song really will be make or break for her.
  21. Why so many singles before the album? Argh. I hate the music industry these days. And it really is a shame this is going to miss the top ten too. :( Really had high hopes for her. Not a great start. (Yes I know there's going to be other singles but let's face it, the debut single is always the biggest chance of a hit)
  22. An album should have been out after Don't Say Love when she still had the hype of being the first Little Mix member to release. If you can do an EP with 5 songs why not just add 5 more and call it an album? Argh
  23. Great start for Camila!
  24. I f***ing LOVE the video - especially the blindfolded dance sequence at the middle 8. The song needs another chorus after the rap. #77 debut on Spotify UK
