I agree regarding Jesy’s lack of accountability, not sure if there’s some confusion here because I haven’t said that Jades statement was factually correct or gospel, just that I’m not surprised to see someone else has put their perspective on the situation and I don’t think it was particularly scathing. There does seem to be a lack of nuance when it comes to this discussion though (in general) which I always find interesting as it tends to boil down to what side you’re on and not looking at as a whole - e.g. Jesy can feel unsupported at the end of the relationship which was a result of the girls being at the end of their tether due to the stress we know was put on them. Both points of view from Perrie and Jesy can co-exist without one being the big bad and the other the victim. That’s my two pence on it really, hopefully now both sides have been aired they can move forward however that will be.

But it wasn’t scathing or abusive though was it? I’m not sure why it’s such a surprise/bad thing that she would want to defend her sister especially if she feels like there are mistruths? I think the problem is that people don’t like someone ‘coming for’ Perrie, but all she did was dispute what was said, which is to be expected just like Jesy should have expected the girls to do after her documentary. This isn’t a defense of Jesy either partly because it’s quite boring rehashing everything that happened 6 years ago at this point and partly because nobody will really ever know what happened properly.

I don’t think there’s any productive discussion to be had in relation to the topic because the truth is probably somewhere in the middle between the two. I don’t think Jesys sister’s statement was particularly scathing though if I’m honest.

I felt a wave of sadness watching that, particularly that Perrie was open to rekindling the friendship until the documentary. I love Jesy, she will always be the best part about Little Mix for me but I do think she has burned her bridges with the group and has hurt them on such a level.

Low key get the impression that she doesn’t like her album. Saying that she’s been talking about how she likes Absof***inglovely during the interviews so she could even have sung that. Weird.

I thought it would be an unpopular but yeah, the videos I’ve saw from Hoopla were pretty bad. She doesn’t seem to have any stage presence as a solo artist and just looked a little awkward on stage. Such a shame when you compare it to Jade the night before who was so good.

Confirmation on Stationhead yesterday that more tour dates are coming next year (presumably European) and that she is doing more re-records and starting work on a new album this summer!

You wouldn’t think she was part of the biggest girl group of an era because this just sounds so basic and cheap. Pls girl venture outside the La La room for her next album 😭

I kind of think she did find her lane with the album, it’s just that it wasn’t as experimental or edgy as the other girls. There’s a definite through line across the record and hopefully she continues to build on it.

Yeah there’s nothing wrong with Perries response at all. Plus we’re kind of forgetting that Jesy doesn’t want to be a pop star, she’s said as much that music is on the back burner and she’s focussing on her children.

Apparently Glen left the band in early 2025! Love this new song, I’ll always have a soft spot for The Scripts music.

Tried a few songs from this but I’ve come to the conclusion that I just don’t like the way she sings anymore. Listening to her old music (pre YSUFT EPs) she was one of my favourite artists but she has adopted this new way of sing/speaking that just isn’t that pleasant to listen to. That being said, Questions is a bit of a bop at least.
