I think I got this list right, but Kylie's "XMAS" will be only the second yearly "focus track" Amazon Original to go #1, and of course the first to go #1 on the Christmas chart: 2018 - Katy Perry - Cozy Little Christmas - #56 (hit #23 the following week, peaked at #22 the following year) 2019 - Ellie Goulding - River - #11 (hit #1 the following week) 2020 - Jess Glynne - This Christmas - #4 (peaked at #3 the following week) 2021 - George Ezra - Come On Home for Christmas - #10 (peaked at #8 the following week) 2022 - Lizzo - Someday at Christmas - #15 (peaked at #8 the following week) 2023 - Sam Ryder - You're Christmas to Me - #2 (repeaked at #2 the following week) 2024 - Tom Grennan - It Can't Be Christmas - #4 (peaked at #3 the following week)
  2. This has forever bugged me so I've decided to hit the lyrics button on Spotify... It's "each hour"!!
  3. Well I like this as well as her two previous singles - afro-bops!
  4. It's definitely my pick as well, it feels very Q4 and it would be perfect for a Strictly slot and for the radio during the months going into Christmas. It's got that autumn feel and the interpolation uses that nostalgia via Motown we all go so used to during the last months of the year. Her best bet at a radio/chart hit!
  5. My playlist goes: Midnight Cowboy [as you guys said, this feels like the natural opener - the album and the visuals kinda give me theatre vibes, with distinct acts etc so it feels a natural opener for me] Headache [sonically similar to MC, i think they sound great near each other] Unconditional [bratty vibes of the first to tracks + disco tinges of what follows] Before You Break My Heart Fantasy Plastic Box Self Saboteur Lip Service Glitch FUFN Natural at Disaster Silent Disco [perfect "happy ending" song] IT girl [perfect "end song" - I feel like we get the pay off of the album title by going on the entire journey for her to realise "oh well that's showbiz baby" at the end of the "story"] Angel of My Dreams [obvious curtain call song, of course!] This works for me, and I can see the story of the album better with this run x

Urban Outfitters are releasing a 2000s vinyl drop: Vanessa Hudgens - Sneakernight 7” Hilary Duff - Reach Out 7” Blink 182 - Enema of the State LP Michelle Branch - The Spirit Room LP Iyaz - Replay 7” Fall Out Boy - Sugar We’re Going Down 7” Charlie’s Angels’ OST LP Imogen Heap - Speak For Yourself LP Feist - The Reminder LP Gorillaz - Demon Days LP Jack’s Mannequin - Everything In Transit LP I know I'm alone in this but I ordered the Charlie's Angels OST so quickly! Super nostalgic for me and my favourite soundtrack ever, so glad to finally have it on vinyl!
  7. OMG I am beyond chuffed to have this new version! "Singapore" is one of my favourite tracks of them and I've always been sad that it's been lost to a bonus disc on The Sound Of... It's part of my favourite Xenomania "trilogy" of songs ("Singapore", "Memory of You", and "I Left My Heart in Tokyo" - thematically they seem to fit together to me), and I'm just thrilled that it's having its own moment to shine after all these years!
  8. Some bangers here, good luck guys. May return on 175 ;)
  9. She can learn! 🤣 Shame though, this basically kills any notion they would ever do this or My Love Is Pink or Never Gonna Dance Again ever again :( (my favourite album tracks) ((Good to be Gone would be there as well but I think that's only nostalgia playing on my mind really))
  10. They should release a single version of this with Siobhan in time for RSD !
  11. 100% this. Last year really soured things for me, from this particular problem to the whole drama with the Netherlands being DQd. I felt the politics had majorly eclipsed the show and the usual great atmosphere around the contest, and as a result I am nowhere near as invested this year. Liverpool was such a high, it's such a shame things have gone downhill since.
  12. Shame this happened, she seemed very sure of how she wanted the rollout to go. Tinfoil hat on, I wonder if the label tried to shelve most of it asking for more "hits" so she's leaked it herself. She wouldn't have been the first artist to do so. Also, labels need to be less scared of leaks, if anything it proves there's interest in the album. They should hurry and rush release it on streaming services (at least) after the BRITs.
  13. Some people have had their orders cancelled and refunded, others have had their orders refunded but not cancelled yet. My order is still live and they have my money. I think perhaps anything outside of the UK they had to cancel as it'll be very difficult for this item to clear customs? They've commented on social media saying the project is definitely not cancelled.
  14. So excited to hear this! France is only of my Top 3 franchises (along with Espana and Philippines), the cast here is going to be so stacked! Assuming they won't get Lolita Banana, La Kahenna, La Grande Dame or Soa de Muse (although I'd love for her to come back and be judged properly!), this is the cast I'd want to see: - Kam Hugh - Elips - La Big Bertha - Mami Watta - Sara Forever - Piche - Cookie Kunty - Leona Winter - Perseo - Norma Bell Sooo many others I'd like back, Moon, Punani, Vespi, Magnetica, Ruby on the Nail, Lula Strega, Misty Pheonix! And I beg them to give a second chance to La Kahenna and Soa de Muse if they accept the invitation. This is going to be so good!
