I’m not going to lie, I am enjoying the somewhat cheesy country pop post malone has been putting out. Is it clearly designed for radio to eat up, sure. Is it a lot of fun still, definitely. The new jorja track sounding really good on first listen. Here’s hoping that is another hit for her.

Bit of a weird listening experience initially after being familiar with the two EPs, but really enjoying the album now I am used to it as one project. Anything and Tears For Fun are both fantastic! Only track I can’t get into is Where Did You Go. The vocoder ruins it for me.

This never stood out to me when listening as part of the album, but have become slightly obsessed since it has gone viral. Really hoping it smashes now. Definitely hear the Caroline Polachek influence.

If this is referring to the old rule affecting any song over 3 years old whether it charted or not, they scrapped that. As Pink Pony Club has never charted, it should be treated as having its full streams applied until it has its minimum 9 chart weeks and 3 weeks of decline. Here’s hoping it takes over Red Wine Supernova soon. Yay at Apple making decent gains now. :cheer:

The first example that comes to mind is Charlene Soraia’s Wherever You Will Go cover. Was absolutely huge off the back of a twinings tea ad, so not exactly a company with a history of making memorable ads and hit songs out of them. It is also a very basic cover of the original, which is probably why you don’t really here it now.

I am wondering if 360 has been given the autoplay treatment, as I am now getting that as the first track played every time autoplay takes over. Expect that could continue to climb if others are experiencing the same.

Still waiting for Naked In Manhattan to get the attention it deserves. It’s been so refreshing so see people seem to be getting around Chappell as an artist and not just focusing on GLB. Been a lot of acts this year that feel like one hit wonders, but Chappell’s hype just keeps growing. Expecting whatever comes next to be huge.

BRAT looking very stable which is great to see. Always good to see a new album not plummeting after week 1.

Really annoying Hot To Go was skipped, but they still kept As It Was. The producer picking the songs making very questionable choices.

It was more hoping than any set expectations. Considering Crash didn’t chart anything (which I had forgot), this has definitely been a huge improvement for Charli still.

Really enjoying this right now. Shame it will do nothing chart wise.

Interesting seeing Pink Pony Club being the 4th biggest Chappell song on the billboard charts. Hopefully that can climb into the top 10” 0 soon. Was hoping Charli XCX would do a bit better, but at least 360 got in the Hot 100.

Whilst three lions can get in the bin, I do enjoy world in motion and glad that had the second biggest boost.

I can’t see Eminem getting another #1 after this one, so have no issue with him getting it this week. Be nice to see him have a solo #1 after the last 4 of his relying on features. Given the small difference on Spotify, I am not expecting Houdini to hold all week still.
