Wasn’t this being pushed as an ‘acoustic’ album, not expecting a great deal of production on any of the tracks this time.

Voted for Mimi, Zara and Halsey, with Mimi’s being the best of the week. Couldn’t get into any of the others.

It will ultimately come down to staging with his this performs on the night. The song is very euro dance still so although not groundbreaking, I can see it still being received well. Better than most our acts from the past 10 years at least.

Easiest week so far. Been enjoying the Gorillaz track for weeks now, so happy it charted.

That’s a great climb for Niall on Spotify! Guess we will see after today if it suddenly starts plummeting as another track gets what seems to be the weekly autoplayola pick.

I went for Niall, Beabadoobie, P!nk, Lana and Caity. The last one is admittedly very basic but undeniably catchy. NF was a bit too all over the place for me.

I thought P!nk would be a guaranteed #1 with the lack of new competition. Just shows what a mammoth streaming success SOS has been (and how bad P!nk is doing on that front).

The Muppets got my vote + Under Pressure and I Want To Break Free. So many classics in this list of singles. :wub:

I voted for Linkin Park, Paramore and Mae Stephens. The rest varied from ok to awful (Central Cee is nothing if not consistent).

So pleased to see beabadoobie - even if it isn’t a song of hers I particularly like. Has much better music out there. Lana smashing too. :cheer:

Definitely would love to see more creative merch opportunities taken with CD singles and/or exclusive B-sides (at least exclusive for a set period of time). Can be a great way to keep fans engaged post album release.

I voted for Rita, RAYE and Switch Disco this week. Not the best week, though I can see Give It To Me growing on me. Love seeing Nelly Furtado getting a second life in the charts having her verses remixed for dance tracks - just wish she got some credit. The full vocal mix is definitely an improvement on the standard version.

Hats off for putting that Drake chart history together - I feel exhausted just looking at it. :lol: Hadn’t realised how many hits Lil Uzi Vert has had, though I do wonder how many even his fans can remember.

Really don’t understand the love for Boy’s A liar Part 2 (the original is much better), but happy to see this smashing for Pink Pantheress.

I went for KSI, P!nk, Sam, Tom and Freya. Actually found them all ok, but only those 5 do I like enough to listen of my own choice. P!no’s is definitely the stand out here still. Can’t seem to click with Snooze which is a shame as I have enjoyed all the other hits from SOS. Couldn’t hum it if I tried after repeated listens since album release.

It is top 10 already on the airplay charts, so could be gaining a lot of interest from that. It is a much better song than NGNDA so glad it is doing well this early on. :dance:

Tom Odell and Arctic Monkeys seem to just be permanently stuck in the bubbling under area. Shame they can’t seem to get enough momentum to scrape top 100. Guessing 22 will be RAYE’s peak now. Seems to be levelling out globally.

Not the best of weeks… Voted for Fall Out Boy and Cat Burns. Luude, Ed, Dominic and Arya were Ok. Wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to any of them though.

Early contender for cheesiest song of the year, but it is cute still.

First strong week of the year for new entries. Voted for Bizarrap x Shakira; Miley; Lizzy; Mimi and Sabrina. VIBE and Gimme were ok, but nothing I would choose to listen to. VIBE sounds like a 90s Disney film end credit song.

Nice idea but definitely a flawed list by the occ. including tracks starred out because of chart rules defeats the point a bit.
