It’s very ABBA-esque meets 90s Max Martin to me, which is not a bad thing! Love the drama of it.

It sounds very classic. Can see it doing well with the radio 2 crowd. Hoping single #2 is more of a bop still.

Agreed. Hearing it sung out to the tune of Band Aid really made this song choice just feel wrong. At least with the other parodies, there wasn't a cause behind the original songs so the novelty value was the main focus. Rooting for RAYE or Christmas Drilling this year.

ACR is only for streaming so those sales would not be halved. Would rather people went for Raye instead as they aren’t on ACR and only song right now with the streams to make up for a lack of downloads.

I know most albums end up having either lyric videos or just an official YouTube video of the album tracks with only the artwork shown, so guess this would pick those up. Would hopefully encourage more music videos but not holding my breath. On another note, it mentions the top 16 tracks are counted, but I thought it was 12. Has it always been 16 or was this updated recently?

Really enjoying the album right now, some very good material. Shame the singles haven’t done anything, though IHYWYD was a total misfire. With some minor lyric changes this could have been more palatable.

Tbf, Sia isn’t doing promo either and most of their success this year is due to decent playlist positioning on the bigger US centric playlists.

Expecting this to get an extra boost on Sunday’s streams with the snowy weather we have had. Agree with what has been said about the top ten on the playlist just getting blasted, though worth noting much more user choice impact as you get lower down. Oh Santa for example is quite high on Christmas hits, yet only just scraping the top 200. On the other side One More Sleep is consistently performing better than it’s playlist positioning. Hoping Raye can maintain these numbers into the new year. Really healthy numbers.
