First strong week of the year for new entries. Voted for Bizarrap x Shakira; Miley; Lizzy; Mimi and Sabrina. VIBE and Gimme were ok, but nothing I would choose to listen to. VIBE sounds like a 90s Disney film end credit song.

Really enjoying People Pleaser so would be quite happy this becoming a moderate hit for Cat Burns. Was hoping Maneskin would be doing a bit better at this point. :cry:

It is still building on streaming so I think it has a good shot. Would love to see Shakira charting again after so long, especially with a Spanish song! Pointless dropping 1-11. Will see if it can hold onto top 15 by Friday.

It’s very ABBA-esque meets 90s Max Martin to me, which is not a bad thing! Love the drama of it.

I am guessing they will wait until the music video before requesting a reset for Lavender Haze. Might as well keep the focus on Anti-Hero for now where it clearly has some legs still.

A high peak is easier to plug to general audiences when advertising the album on posters and tv adverts. They won’t care it dropped out quickly after. Seems quite clear this won’t be a long running hit unless something drastically changes to its Spotify performance, so might as well push for a big peak and then move on.

Lewis needs a big boost on Spotify to even be looking at top 5.Can’t imagine the iTunes sales are equating to more than a few hundred downloads.

Love seeing Alexander Rybak’s Fairytale being certified silver. Another Eurovision smash! Also Alexandra Burke’s Hallelujah going 3x platinum! :cheer:
