Ahh nevermind then!

Quite the run for beabadoobee - her best since ‘coffee for your head’? I’m pretty sure ‘Edge of Saturday Night’ will be added, though it could do with being a TOTW to get it over the line. Sorry for being pedantic, but the PAWSA track is missing a ‘Too’ at the start (what a banger by the way).

It may be an awful song but Central Cee/RAYE was always going to be insta A-listed. Surprised The Last Dinner Party haven’t been A-listed yet.

Really enjoying this

Harry Styles’ cover of ‘The Chain’ also comes to mind as a contender.

They actually did ‘Happier’ dirty - it’s run was only C-B-B-B which was baffling at the time and still is. ‘Edge of Saturday Night’ was Hottest Record so I imagine they will playlist it soon.

Updated now.

I’m enjoying this more than I thought I would. Surprised it’s taken off so quickly though.

This has just reminded me how much of a banger ‘Don’t Hurt Me Baby’ still is.

Wow wasn’t expecting that start! It’s good but it’s not quite ‘Baddadan’.

Oh yeah I’ve been enjoying this a lot recently

I was fully expecting Ben Hemsley to stall on the C-list. I think this is the first time he’s moved up the playlist. Echo the love for ‘HEAT’!

My only gripe with this is that it ends rather abruptly. I need more of that last drop.

Yeah this is great - not like I expected anything else!

Well this is brilliant

That TSHA track is soooo good. Hopefully it gets a proper add soon.

Just the three and a half months late for ‘Closer’. ‘Nightshift’ is a tune so happy to see that supported.

Oops it was actually ‘Ibizacore’ that was hottest record.

Hottest Record too.

‘Stay’ is one of the best things she’s done. It was hottest record yesterday.

I’m not sure this will be close to another Number One. It doesn’t have anywhere near the hype ‘Miracle’ had - though it may grow from release but I’m expecting a similar performance to ‘Desire’.

Oh ‘Drive’ is gorgeous

Not too fussed on any of the new additions this week. Nice to see ‘Life’ A-listed.

‘lift off!’ is Going Home’s Tune of the Week, while ‘saving flowers’ is still going strong on the B-list. I love how much support he’s getting on Radio 1.

I don’t agree with the samey comment - the fact he had hottest record on Friday and chillest record yesterday just highlights that it’s quite a varied album while still having that salute sound throughout. In terms of whiplash, I think swapping ‘system’ and ‘maybe it’s u’ around would help to negate that. Apart from that, I think the album flows well. It starts very quick and the tempo peaks with ‘go!’ (which I agree needs to be longer) and then gradually drops in intensity across the last four - with ‘drive’ being the perfect last song. If I was ranking the album in order from best to worst: system saving flowers lift off! maybe it’s u one of those nights go! reason softly drive luv stuck move faster… perfect It’s only really the last three that haven’t clicked for me properly yet. There’s a big drop from ‘drive’ to ‘luv stuck’.
