I’ve gone Peggy Gou, Chase & Status and Jorja Smith. I feel a lot of the nominations are the hottest record from Sunday’s show which I never associate as proper hottest records as they don’t have an interview with the artist and replay the song later in the show.

I think the Baby Keem song is called ‘leavemealone’ and it seems to be getting a lot of hype on TikTok. I reckon it may turn out to be his biggest song to date.

They really didn’t need to have four songs on the A-list reach a tenth week, especially when they’ve ditched two songs after just seven.

Hopefully A Little Sound is added soon, Arielle also had her as TOTW a few weeks ago.

Unusual for Tate McRae to have a song on the A-list and a different song as Tune of the Weekend. Presumably ‘greedy’ won’t be played at all over the weekend.

‘Selecta’ in at #19 on Spotify! I believe that is a better debut than both ‘Badaddan’ and ‘Liquor & Cigarettes’?

I agree that A-listing a song and making it Tune of the Weekend is pretty pointless. Ideally the TOTW would be a brand new release that isn’t on the playlist at all.

I’m a little obsessed with ‘Selecta’

Pretty much any other week it would be Peggy Gou, but it has to be ‘Selecta’ for me

Shame Hannah Laing and Holly Humberstone are off already. Slightly surprised they’ve put new PinkPantheress straight to the A-list, but guess it’s more to do with Central Cee being involved.

‘Selecta’ is indeed hottest record tonight. I think it’ll be another big hit for them.

I love the build up to the first drop on ‘Say The Word’.

IIRC they added ‘All Too Well’ straight to the A-list a week after release.

Adding ‘Got Me Started’ rather than ‘One Of Your Girls’ is odd, all that’s going to happen is the latter ends up being added in a couple of weeks anyway. Really pleased to see Holly Humberstone on the A-list, though I’m surprised Griff wasn’t A-listed too. The Kid LAROI and co added straight to the B-list is great to see, looks like a huge smash incoming.

Looking at the last couple of days, I think it’s safe to say Lauv is on the B-list, Hannah Laing has been added to the C-list and Miley Cyrus has been removed from the A-list.

Just to add to this, I think Miley Cyrus has been removed from the A-list. ‘Used To Be Young’ has only been played once according to the song lists. They’ve also played ‘Flowers’ and ‘Prisoner’ - they very rarely play recurrent tracks when that artist is on the A-list.
