Yeah with drum & bass doing so well recently, I wouldn't be surprised if Hybrid Minds do get some success chart wise at some point. Hopefully that'll be with their new one with Charlotte Plank that was released a couple of weeks ago.

‘Mosquito’ is decent but I’m loving ‘Capable of love’

Well on the whole this album is a really strong effort. From the new tracks, ‘Ghost Me’, ‘Lauren’, ‘Girl’ and in particular ‘Elvis Impersonators’ are all great. ‘Into Your Room’ still sounds so good too, it’s between that and ‘Kissing In Swimming Pools’ as my favourite from the album.

Gone for PinkPantheress and Kenya Grace in the tiebreak. Though my favourite new release this week is from A Little Sound.

The playlist has gone rogue this week! ‘Little Things’ being re-added is just bizarre - especially when ‘GO GO GO’ is one of her best for me so disappointed it now has to share a playlist spot. A little surprised they didn’t A-list Holly Humberstone with her album out today. Hopefully she doesn’t stall on the B-list completely. ‘Prada’ stalling is a surprising too.

‘Kissing In Swimming Pools’ was released a couple of weeks ago and it’s gorgeous. I was a little worried about the album after not being a big fan of ‘Antichrist’ and ‘Room Service’ (and ‘Superbloodmoon’ is rather boring too) but she’s brought it back with the last couple releases. Looking forward to the rest of the album on Friday!

Tough one between Kenya Grace, Vibe Chemistry and Clipz but the latter shades it

Surprised they haven’t added ‘DNA (Loving You)’ yet. Though I’m sure they will and probably quickly A-list it too if it keeps on climbing the chart. I’m hoping Dimension get one more week on the playlist for that satisfying playlist run. Holly Humberstone climbing, should be A-listed next week too with the album out.

‘Into Your Room’ has been added to Radio 1’s playlist today and she’s announced her tour for next year!

‘She Feels’ and ‘Make sense’ are the two that stood out from the album tracks, though I agree a lot of it sounds like I’ve heard it all before. The singles are by far the best songs on the album, especially ‘GO GO GO’ which is up there with the best she’s ever done for me.

Really pleased with the climbs to the A-list. Jorja Smith was always happening this week but I wasn’t sure they’d A-list ‘Now U Do’. The A-list really does need a clear out though which should happen next week. There’s plenty of songs on the B-list that look set to rise - Griff, cassö and co, Kenya Grace, Tate McRae, Royal Blood to name a few. Yay for the quick add for Holly Humberstone. Her album is out in a couple weeks so I think ‘Into Your Room’ will go C-B-A. Oh and no Ed Sheeran is a big surprise.

Dimension getting one of the strangest ever runs to the A-list, though surely no one will beat Diplo. I guess they were expecting to just keep it on the C-list but it must’ve been popular with the presenters and listeners (as it should, it’s great). I agree we could see ’Strangers’ jump C-A next week.

Looks like the follow up to ‘Ray Of Solar’ will be with 070 Shake titled ‘Not Yesterday’, which they played for the first time in Tokyo. Sounding really good!

Good climbs for Jorja Smith and Nothing But Thieves. The former is a cert for the A-list but not sure about NBT (it really deserves to though). Shame ‘Rave Out’ couldn’t make it to the A-list but it’s had a good run. No Kenya Grace yet, surely will be added next week though.

Ridiculously short but a banger nonetheless

Only just realised how much drum & bass there is on the playlist right now. Three songs each on the A and B-list is great to see.

Hopefully Turno and co can also make a late climb to the A-list, though I’m surprised ‘Asking’ hasn’t made it yet but sure it’ll get there eventually.

16 songs on the A-list so perhaps there’s a mistake in there. Yay for Jorja Smith, one of her best yet.

‘Falling or flying’ is lovely but ‘GO GO GO’ is soooo good and deserves the success ‘Little Things’ got.
