Unsurprisingly it looks like ‘Dance The Night’ gets another week unofficially on the A-list. Dimension getting that late rise to the B-list, it’s been a while since a song spent four weeks on the C-list before being moving up. Pleased to see Romy added, but not too fussed about the other new entries. I guess they’re waiting until a few weeks before the album release before added Jorja Smith but seeing as she was RMC’s tune of the week last week, I was hoping for an add today.

‘Dance The Night’ looks like it’s back on A-list rotation, it’s even been played at the top of the hour. I’m guessing they did this thinking it would be Number One today.

My initial reaction is that Georgia being removed is a mistake but time will tell. Thought Issey Cross might have a shot of going A-list this week, Radio 1 really behind this tune.

Oh I quite like this

Good moves up for Holly Humberstone and Turno, and happy to see Chase & Status added. Some songs on the A-list outstaying their welcome now, mainly D.O.D and The Weeknd. Though there weren’t many stand out candidates to move up so can see why it’s panned out this way.

‘Atmosphere’ has been all over my TikTok for ages, glad it’s finally being dropped.

A shame Disclosure and Patrick Topping stalled on the C-list, but pleased to see Issey Cross added. I thought new Jorja Smith would’ve been insta added too.

Different from her but I really like this! Shame it’s so short.

Yeah I’m starting to come round to this a little

Oh I quite like this!

#43 on Spotify today despite the Travis Scott album bomb, a very impressive start!

Really strong this week. Calvin, Romy and Chase & Status standing out though Chase & Status edges it for me.

7 weeks too long as far as I’m concerned. Good adds for Dimension, Holly Humberstone and Turno.

Well this slaps

Yeah this could very easily take off, one to keep an eye on.

Would love this to have some chart success, one of my favourites at the minute

Liking a lot of the new entries this week - Becky Hill, Fisher, Troye Sivan and Venbee in particular. Shame Disclosure have stalled on the C-list but I’m still hopeful it’ll rise. Surprised ‘Cruel Summer’ wasn’t A-listed this week, surely it will be next week?

This is so boring, expected more from this collab.

+12 - Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana +10 - Issey Cross - Bittersweet Goodbye +8 - The Blessed Madonna feat. Jacob Lusk - Mercy +7 - Nathan Dawe x Joel Corry x Ella Henderson - 0800 Heaven +6 - Becky Hill x Lewis Thompson - Side Effects +5 - Sub Focus - Fine Day +4 - Romy - Enjoy Your Life +3 - Leftwing : Kody x Hayley May - Bring the Heat +2 - LF System - Dancing Shoes (Take Me Higher) +1 - Piri & Tommy - Nice 2 Me

Surprised to see ‘Relax My Eyes’ off already, I was anticipating it would be A-listed this week. Doja Cat being booted isn’t too much of a surprise, they’ve been more inclined to drop songs quicker this year it seems - ‘Double Fantasy’ lasting just two weeks being the biggest example. Even recently, Anne-Marie and Jazzy gone after 7 weeks when previously they’d be getting 9-10. Happy that they’ve supported Disclosure from the off.

I’ve also gone for Issey Cross

‘Tomorrow Is Closed’ and ‘Pop The Balloon’ are indeed great. I’m really loving ‘Keeping You Around’ too, it’s more understated but very addictive at the same time.

Indeed, it’s ‘Antichrist’ they’ve gone for.

For what it’s worth, I can only see two songs being removed from the A-List this week (one of Niall Horan, Royal Blood or Taylor Swift, probably Niall, joining Rudimental) with Olivia Rodrigo being insta A-Listed and Nothing But Thieves moving up with their album out Friday. Peggy Gou then moves C-B-A.

In fact it’s two new songs: ‘Room Service’ and ‘Antichrist’. Hopefully one will be Hottest Record.
