Yeah this is great, a return to form after her album wasn’t quite as good as I anticipated. I’m hoping she’ll eventually blow up like Olivia Dean has this year. My favourite of hers will always be the incredible ‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin’ - it’s a proper sad banger.

Love ‘car’ - one of my favourite songs this year.

That Royel Otis track is great. The Barry Can’t Swim one is decent too, even though it came out four months ago! It’ll already feel old to anyone who regularly watches Sky Sports as it’s used on an advert there.

‘Before You Break My Heart’ has been played on Breakfast and Matt and Mollie’s show. Normally B-list songs are played on every other show.

They’re really on board with Sammy Virji at the minute aren’t they? ‘925’ added very quickly after release and already moving up (it’s a bit of a tune to be fair, but he’s got better). Surprised that Luke Dean track is added and so soon too. Is there some hype around it I’ve missed?

That Prospa song is too good to stall on the C-list.

I agree, he’s really gone off the boil recently which is a shame.

I doubt they’ve added Luke Dean. Olivia Dean is tune of the weekend so that probably explains the A-list plays. I think she’s more likely on the C-list.

‘You Don’t Own Me’ and ‘Avalanche’ would be great additions. I assumed they would swap the Ed Sheeran songs this week.

It was released a month ago. I think that’s pretty standard, especially for a dance track.

Must be very rare for a song to only last one week on the A-list in normal circumstances (not counting around Big Weekend or songs dropped prematurely due to other reasons e.g covid).

Pleased to see the quick adds for Confidence Man/JADE and Jorja Smith. Plenty of dance songs on the A-list, hopefully ‘High On Me’ joins them next week.
