‘Before You Break My Heart’ has been played on Breakfast and Matt and Mollie’s show. Normally B-list songs are played on every other show.

They’re really on board with Sammy Virji at the minute aren’t they? ‘925’ added very quickly after release and already moving up (it’s a bit of a tune to be fair, but he’s got better). Surprised that Luke Dean track is added and so soon too. Is there some hype around it I’ve missed?

That Prospa song is too good to stall on the C-list.

I doubt they’ve added Luke Dean. Olivia Dean is tune of the weekend so that probably explains the A-list plays. I think she’s more likely on the C-list.

‘You Don’t Own Me’ and ‘Avalanche’ would be great additions. I assumed they would swap the Ed Sheeran songs this week.

It was released a month ago. I think that’s pretty standard, especially for a dance track.

Must be very rare for a song to only last one week on the A-list in normal circumstances (not counting around Big Weekend or songs dropped prematurely due to other reasons e.g covid).

Pleased to see the quick adds for Confidence Man/JADE and Jorja Smith. Plenty of dance songs on the A-list, hopefully ‘High On Me’ joins them next week.

Shame that Sam Gellaitry and Twenty One Pilots are off already, but pleasantly surprised to see Interplanetary Criminal move up. I imagine Rossi/Jazzy will be A-listed next week. Also holding out hope Wunderhorse can still move up, but concede it’s unlikely.

I guess something had to give with so many short runners, but I would’ve thought Lola Young or Wolf Alice were more likely to be removed seeing as they also had two weeks on the playlist during Big Weekend. Good to see Wunderhorse move up, hoping they get A-listed. That Rossi and Jazzy song is a tune.

The two collabs with TSHA are probably my favourites, but there are so many bangers in there. Her solo stuff is decent too, I’m a big fan of ‘True’.

14 songs on the A-list. Tom Grennan removed in error perhaps? Though it wouldn’t surprise me if they do cut the A-list permanently. Assuming there’s no error, 5 weeks for the longest runner must be the shortest ever!? (It’s kind of 7 weeks though if you add in the Big Weekend playlist)
