To You I Belong is a beautiful festive ballad and my second favourite of their chart toppers. The Manics are my number 1 of the year. What a song and as you say totally different to the other chart toppers of the year. I think we now only share one song in your top 4.

I neither like or dislike Its Chico Time. Meh.

Turn Back Time would be 4th for me - beautiful song. Still love Sliding Doors. This was number 1 when I started the job I am still in!

Now this would be in my top 3 of the year! Brilliant song and one of the best remixes ever.

I hate that Sandi Thom song. Would probably put it lower!

You’re not missing the double entendre. I still like C’est La Vie - pure pop at its finest. Reminds me of Friday night at Heaven - trying to jig at the fake riverdance ha ha.

Goodbye is a beautiful song - agree their last great one. No Matter What is by far Boyzone’s best, raiding my eyebrows though as I think another one by them is still to come?!

Mcfly were pretty hit and miss for me. This double A being a big miss!

98 and 99 were halcyon days for Pop, it began to tail off after that. I think this was a trend in music, like indie it dies out (like now) but does come back. Maybe there is a big Pop explosion round the corner!
