I started to tear up when she did. She is so passionate, she knows what she is talking about. I’m so proud of her. I can’t believe how much she’s having to do!

I last spoke to her in October, however, Jesy follows me on TikTok so I can try on there too in an extra effort for her to see this information!

Jesy posted a video from hospital thanking everyone for the overwhelming support. She said she will be starting a petition and will fight to make change happen as she is so determined. She will be on This Morning tomorrow to discuss SMA Type 1 to raise awareness.

Looking into this disease has been so saddening :( I really hope things change. I feel like Jesy has already raised SO much awareness in the space of 24 hours. All of her close friends that she has had for over a decade re-shared her posts and shared sweet messages. Some of the celeb support she's received: Jessie J Halle Bailey Simon Cowell and his wife Michelle Keegan Jac Jossa Chris Hughes JoJo Siwa Michelle Visage Rylan Stacey Dooley Sian Welby Sinead Harnett Olivia Attwood Kamille Ashley Banjo Jamie Laing Shona McGarty Mollie King and more. She also received support from Jamie who used to style Little Mix and is one of Jade's bestfriends. A few of the other LM team (dancers, writers, hairstylists and other stylists) sent her love too. Also lovely to see the comments thank her for the amount of awareness she's raised and the fact some people, like myself had never heard of this before. Seeing lots of support from the SMA community and charities too. I'm sure by sharing this will save many lives in the future with giving this knowledge. It's getting people talking about it:

Looking at the comments on her post are so sad, as in she's getting so much support but i'm seeing parents say their child defied the odds for 12/13 years :( so young. My heart hurts for her. I love that she is staying so positive saying she believes they will defy the odds and live longer than 2 and achieve things they are unlikely to. She uploaded the video onto her Youtube channel to spread wider awareness.

This is actually heartbreaking. Jesy revealed her twins are disabled. Hoping her kids do defy the odds and are able to walk one day. My god she’s had it so rough.

The production team shared a behind the scenes of all their 2025 projects today and there’s a few snippets of jesy. They put in the caption it is coming in the new year. Hopefully we get a proper trailer soon.
