I've been obsessed with 'Londontown' and her last album was really good so can't wait for this 🤩

ROSALÍA debuting in the top 20 is a beautiful sight 🤩 'Relapse' and 'One of the Greats' are my favourite songs from the Lily and Florence albums respectively, good to see both entering too.

Gave this a watch tonight and it was a good time with lots of unsurprisingly great compositions and silly humour from Lennon and McCartney. I wasn't expecting quite so much classical involvement so that was a pleasant surprise. I'm also really interested in '60s fashion so enjoyed it on that front too. Pleased someone dug up this gem! I must've heard Marianne Faithfull's version of 'Yesterday' before when trawling the archives, as it just about made the top 40, but I'd totally erased it from memory if so. I enjoyed her take on it today anyway! Her voice is just beautiful. Esther Phillips' vocals also stood out and Lulu had a lot of energy.

BJSC 179Sara Zozaya - Blu The latest edition of BJSC is currently under way in our very own nation thanks to Erin LeCount's victory in BJSC 178! This success banked us an auto-qualifier, so we decided to select something that could've been on shaky ground without this safety net. Jadakissnia wanted to return to inspired roots off the back of a recycle and we ended up with a song that hasn't even hit 2k views yet. 'Blu' by Sara Zozaya is a slow-burn Basque entry with gorgeous ambient yet also cinematic qualities, with its post-rock edge. We have now hit a round 10 qualifiers in a row thanks to the automatic pass to the final, hooray! 'Blu' can be found in slot #31. As hosts, we voted in both semi finals. We did not lose any votes from semi 2 but had to say goodbye to the following in semi 1: 03 Lotunia • Lucy Camp - Tricks 02 Trifoski • The Books - A Cold Freezin' Night Trifoski just 1 point away, noooooo. </3 better than expected in such a pop heavy semi though to be fair.
