Julian ranks the #1s of 2003
I once enjoyed 'Be Faithful' but it has tired on me quite a bit over the years. The samples do a lot of the heavy lifting really. Not that fussed on 'Crashed the Wedding' but top marks for Matt Willis impersonating Adam Ant in the video

Jester’s rank of 1995 number 1s
'Boom Boom Boom' is probably the only song so far that I wouldn't skip. I agree that their other chart topper is irritating though so I'm glad that swiftly dropped out. I agree with Dandy that the Goodmen sample is the redeeming feature of 'Fairground'. Simply Red have far worse but I'd never seek this out over the instrumental. Cher, Chrissie Hynde, Neneh Cherry and Eric Clapton on board and we get... that :( I know most charity songs are nothing special but what a bland collaboration between legendary names. Still, I'm glad it finally got added to Spotify in recent times for further #1s completeness on there. 'You Are Not Alone' is also really dull and obviously the R Kelly connection aged like milk. Not a banner year for Jacko chart-toppers - justice for 'Scream' x

RabbitFurCoat Revisits Personal Chart #1 Singles
'Hey Ya!' is my favourite top 40 hit of 2003 so I agree with the 10/10 rating love its boundless energy, quotable lines and genre-blending. Legendary video also! 2004 is off to a strong start too as a big Basement Jaxx fan 🙌 'Good Luck' might be less kooky than usual and instead more soulful but still a good sound for them.

Friday Chart Predictions
For an all-female act I believe it's the brilliant 'Stay' by Shakespears Sister, with 8 weeks in 1992.

Record of the Decade: 2015-2024 (2017 Results)
'Oh Baby' and 'Play God' are great additions to the AQ zone. The latter was the first Sam Fender song I ever heard and probably still my favourite.

Jade's Top 40 | #442 (18.09.25)
Thank you very much for introducing the forum to inspired gem 'Korku'! Excited to find out what your next entry is after such a strong run at the moment *.* Agreed that 'The Subway' has dropped out of the official top 10 too quickly </3 felt wrong not giving it my top reshuffle points this week, as much as I like '12 to 12' too! Glad you enjoyed Wolf Alice's new album! I get what you mean, I was hoping for some more quirky 'Bloom Baby Bloom' moments but still a solid lane. thank you for commenting

'Never Gonna Leave Your Side' would've been somewhere in my bottom 5 too. It's pretty bland and feels like a bit of a non-#1 following his two more impactful ones. I must admit that 'Spirit In The Sky' is a guilty pleasure mainly for the added sitar and quips from The Kumars - "is Will Young available?" *.*

Strictly Come Dancing • Series 23
This is back tonight perfect antidote to the miserable weather! I've only seen a couple of pairing spoilers so I can mostly be surprised tonight. Looking forward to that plus Chris and Dianne's return dance as last year's champions *.* Speaking of the latter - saw the other day that Joe and Dianne are expecting a baby, lovely news, their series will always have a special place in my heart as it was the first one I watched. There was something in the air that year with Stacey Dooley and Kevin going on to have a kid too!
