All of the singles made my personal chart and I think all the album tracks down to ‘New York’ will too, was brutal to rank I think ‘Diet Pepsi’ would be a contender for my favourite music video from her though. She nails the blend of sensual but silly and it’s so satisfying when the palette goes from black and white to colour *.*

Week 42 and 43: I discovered 'Children Of The Night' during weekly clubbercise classes as my instructor created some wacky, high energy choreography for it. I think it's quite a fun one to dance/workout to, but can't say I ever really listen to it outside of that context Ooft poor Nelly and Excelly Rowland!! Tbf 'Dilemma' is pretty basic on paper, with a nursery rhyme chorus, but there's still something quite smooth and nostalgic about it for me all the same - especially the twinkly production. It's crazy to think that once upon a time Kelly Rowland's album was pushed ahead of Beyoncé's in the release schedule due to how much this smashed. 'New Direction' has no business being that good! The radio mix samples 'Magic Fly' by Space which is a big favourite. "I've been looking for a new fixation" is also a mood. I don't think I've come across 'Reload' before, initially did a double take thinking I'd accidentally played 'ResuRection', but nope it's just very similar I really enjoy the energy shifting throughout 'All My Life' as well, one of their best. Forced to stan 'The Ketchup Song' getting a 9 from you school disco classic and a lot of fun indeed. It took me far too long to realise that the chorus interpolates 'Rapper's Delight'! Oh so 'Dreaming Of You' is the song that was used in ADSA adverts at one point! Good to put a name to it now.

I've put my faith in the choice I was planning to send anyway even if a bit nervous about the strength of the competition!

Wow, never would've called Rina being out as early as Round 3 before this started. I'm sure she has a very good chance of being brought back with the Golden Wagner, though.

I have been undecided, as I already pre-ordered a vinyl from her store (still not here yet 😭) and I don't usually multi-buy... but caved in was half expecting the liquid concept to be 'Diet Pepsi' themed!
