I love New York, love New York, love New York love New York, love New York… what an earworm, I need an extended version of this banger! ‘Money Is Everything’ is the least essential on the album for me, more of a silly, poking fun of herself kind of moment. ‘Summer Forever’ is heavenly 🤩 my very first thought about this era was that ‘Diet Pepsi’ reminded me of Lana Del Rey and this one is pretty Lana coded as well ‘In The Rain’ feels very 2000s, another instant keeper from the new songs ☔️ ‘Times Like These’ is my favourite of the new additions as well. Trip-hop Addison has me in a chokehold so far with this and ‘Headphones On’. Agreed that the interlude going into the latter is a beautiful touch as well. Overall this debut lived up to my high expectations based on the pre-release tracks 👏 she knows her references yet everything feels current at the same time. Also the whole writing/production team solely consisting of women feels pretty unique and special. Unlocked further motivation to pass my driving test this summer… need to blast this album in the car
