Now That's What I Call Music! [Part 7]
Oh great to see 1997 up next, not only my birth year but a standout one for the charts in general. Like Rich I was also pleased to see 'Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?' making the cut.

The Pop Factor: Season 1 β’ Boot Camp
I don't think I've seen the Billie Piper comparison before but I see what you mean! Delighted that people are making a good discovery out of 'Headphones On' π I wasn't sure how much mileage Addison would get in the contest, with a small discography and likely up against legends, but I saw the opportunity to showcase this wonderful singles run to more people and took it. Re. voting early - I was surprisingly only unfamiliar with 1.5 songs in this round, as one I'd heard a clip of before, but not in full until yesterday and thought I'd do it while I had the time.

π₯ Buzzjack Multichart #1s: 2006-Present
Some early BJSC winners unsurprisingly here so far like 'I Kissed A Girl', 'Release Me', 'Hollywood' and 'Someone Like You'. Intrigued to see if 'Video Games' missed the top spot or had a slow burn run into 2012. I started my own personal chart in 2011 (I used to post it on YouTube at first, didn't migrate it to BuzzJack until 2013 for some reason despite having an account here since 2011) and had several Born This Way chart-toppers much like the multi-chart.

Terminal A (Semi Final 1) & Terminal B (Semi Final 2).txt
At the listening session, I made the comment that the whole package of Dan's entry seemed like it would be up your street, then felt validated when we got to your entry and it was also an electronic instrumental with an aquatic video (hype to both tbh! π©΅)

The Pop Factor: Season 1 β’ THE FINAL RESULTS
Oh I feel bad celebrating when another act is departing in the same post but I'm glad 'Aquamarine' did connect with enough people in the end! All of Addison's singles since 'Diet Pepsi' have made my personal chart but 'Aquamarine' made me properly sit up and take notice. I can't remember the last time I was so excited about a new pop star

Addison Rae - Fame is a Gun
Really looking forward to more music from her π 'Headphones On' is still my current favourite song. Over the past few days her instagram account has uploaded a dedicated post about each of the singles from this era so far. Maybe we could get an official announcement for this tomorrow following a 'Headphones On' post today?
