I thought Chris would be a nailed on winner after the highlight show where he defended Jojo from Mickey's comments... but fast forward a few weeks on and the reality is that it doesn't feel clear cut at all, exciting! I think I'm rooting for Danny to win now, Donna hasn't had the best couple of days and he's probably been my biggest all-rounder over the course of the whole series. But wouldn't be mad at a Jack victory either as he's been my biggest grower. I don't find anyone left loathsome so can sit back and relax

'Batdance' is obviously no Purple Rain but I admire how he achieved such a weird hit single with it

Lorde is up to #66 on Apple now (also 'Mood Ring' was easily my favourite song from Solar Power so I agree with the praise)

I voted for 'The Importance of Being Idle', really striking and easily one of Oasis' best songs that came after their first two iconic albums. 'Pon De Replay' is a good opponent though and one I appreciate more now than I did at the time. That Diwali Riddim sound that the likes of Lumidee and Sean Paul also incorporated is always fun.

Wow the Neptunes really were everywhere right now! I don't mind 'Boys', I found the album version a bit limp but enjoy the slick remix more. Not a Britney classic though. 'Automatic High' is a bit of a guilty pleasure I don't remember it from 2002 but it was on my Pop Party 3 CD a few years later which I absolutely rinsed as a kid. I do agree that the themes are a bit too old for them, but that chorus does still give me pangs of nostalgia. Wow this George campaign has been pretty head-scratching so far with 'Freeek!' and now this. I love the original Human League song but agreed that 'Shoot the Dog' feels a bit undercooked. Screamadelica is an all-time great record but I don't know much other Primal Scream material. I'm quite liking 'Miss Lucifer' on first listen - particularly the relentless electro-industrial synths. That Natalie Imbruglia track is also new to me and similarly has interesting production, an enjoyable downtempo sound. 'Falling' is a big standout for me this week! What a shame that it fell short of a top 20 chart placing. It has quite a 60s wall of sound-esque charm. Darius will forever remind me of BuzzJack *.* it's sweet that he had enough dedicated fans on here to keep an Artist Forum going for so long after his commercial peak. As mentioned before, I watched Popstars on YouTube for the first time last year so have seen Darius' stint on there quite recently, infamous '...Baby One More Time' performance and all on the show he said something along the lines of wanting to achieve a #1 hit within the next 5 years - which seemed a bit deluded after Britney-gate, but he did just that! Hopefully Pop Idol in full turns up on YouTube one day so I can witness what the shift in the tide was like for him, from laughing stock to pop star. I can see that his image obviously got an overhaul. Anyway, 'Colourblind' is a solid pop song and kudos to him for the song-writing passion too, shame he passed away so young. I loved 'A Thousand Miles' when I was younger, not quite as crazy about it nowadays but do still think the piano riff is lovely. I adore 'Days Go By' but have not been familiar with Dirty Vegas' work otherwise. I should give their self-titled album a go as 'Ghosts' is sounding pretty good! It's all about the Jason Nevins remix of 'Rock Star' for me as well I remember discovering it on an old 2002 chart show and immediately adding it to my playlists. It's like a whirlwind of rap, rock and dance all in one.

Intrigued by 'atmospheric, melancholy instrumental' so chucked that a vote!

I approve of 'Ants Invasion' as the Adam and the Ants pick 'The Things That Dreams Are Made Of' also stands out to me, not only because I love Dare, but due to being a part of Richard X's 'Finest Dreams' mash-up. I do enjoy that new wave era so will have to give this a go

'Back To Life (However Do You Want Me)' is a big highlight of that top 10 I didn't realise how influential their sound was until watching this Trash Theory documentary on YouTube, would recommend:
