Disappointing from him (maybe shouldn't be surprised but I remember Starmer giving a compassionate answer on the subject in one of the debates last year, which felt somewhat refreshing during the toxic culture wars that were taking place) and also Equalities Minister Bridget Phillipson, who has come out today saying that trans women should use toilets according to their biological sex... a worrying message for such a vulnerable group - once again as a cis woman I can't say I think twice about a woman's biological sex when they come to use a cubicle 🙃 some compassion really wouldn't go amiss.

Unfortunately 'Work It Out' is a Neptunes production that I'm not so fond of, a bit of a mess. Not too keen on the vocal delivery either. Thankfully Beyoncé's next dabble with brass is a lot more up my street... *.* There's a home video from this time where I'm dressed up as a fairy playing in the garden with my brother and 'Anyone Of Us (Stupid Mistake)' is blasting on the radio, a fun time capsule! I agree that it's a well crafted pop song and definitely a step forward for him after that mediocre 'Unchained Melody' cover. 'LK' is one of those songs I couldn't put a name to for years but definitely recognised as Kisstory rinsed it when I regularly tuned in. Stamina MC's two hits both make me want to be on a summer holiday, alas a rainy Bank Holiday Monday indoors will have to do! I loved his collab with Shy FX and Lily Allen, 'Roll The Dice'. 2018 was very late for all artists involved to get together, so sadly no chart impact, but a D&B banger nonetheless. I really like the piano loop of 'Foolish'. Incredible that it spent 10 weeks at #1 in the U.S. I've never heard either of those My Vitriol songs before but they're sounding good on first listen, some shoegaze influences in there Interesting that the Coral's introductory track is called 'Goodbye' I don't think I'm familiar with this one either but I'm enjoying the 60s feel of it. 'It Just Won't Do' was another great One Hit Wonders of the Millennium discovery - uplifting Latin-inspired house with a fun trumpet riff indeed. Ooh I was wondering why 'Wish I Didn't Miss You' felt so familiar when I checked out some Angie songs after her recent passing and I think Snake has just solved that for me, I know KDA's 2019 update 'The Human Stone' from the time. Great source material anyway - #30 feels too low a peak for it! Fischerspooner are a brilliant top pick *.* I first discovered them when the also fab 'TopBrazil' was sent to BJSC in 2018 and was pleasantly surprised to later discover that they had a top 40 hit!
