Great to see 'Headphones On' climbing and 'Fame is a Gun' debuting Addison was soooo good supporting Lana last week! She did a slightly remixed version of 'Fame is a Gun' with a noisy, glitchy section - intrigued to see if that version will make it to streaming.

Please add in Talking Heads as my +1 if 'Acquiesce' makes the top 40!

Blondie have had an excellent 1980 so far as 'Call Me' would top this group for me too. You can't go wrong with the combination of them and Giorgio Moroder. Amazing that the Sky version of 'Toccata' was a top 5 hit. The first non-Bach version I knew was this dance one by OVERWERK that placed 8th for me in BJSC:

Happy to hear 'Merry Christmas Everyone' during the festive season but otherwise Shaky is not my thing at all, so I'm pleased Madonna came out on top. The epic 'Like A Prayer' is my favourite song from her '80s catalogue. I think 'La Isla Bonita' and 'Into The Groove' would round out my top 3 - all #1s!
