  1. POP EMERGENCY Firstly, Ariana recently posted photos from Max Martin's studio. Now, if you call her 'Brighter Days, Inc.' hotline it says "We’re counting down the 8s - oops, I mean the days" Her next studio album is her 8th... is new music really on the way?! Oh my
  2. Miley's new song hasn't made the Spotify chart but 'The Climb' is now appearing at #168!
  3. Voted for Slayyyter this week 💖 'BRITTANY MURPHY.' was an immediate standout from her new album, so a great focus track pick.
  4. It's showing up now! 156 Miley Cyrus - Younger You (From the "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special")
  5. Ahhh my bad, you two are next to each other on the spreadsheet so I assume that’s how I made that presentation error fixed, thanks!
  6. 06 Rachel Stevens - Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex avg: 8.48 👑 Pop Royalty: 11 (JosephStyles, HarryGarfield), 10 (Scene, Mango, Billy., Nina West) ❌ Pop Flop: 3 (Roba.), 6 (DaTilt, Chez Wombat) BuzzJack members have had their say and now it's my turn to deliver the verdict. Rachel Stevens just misses out on a top 5 placing, with an 8.48 average. Stevens wasted no time getting started on her post-S Club solo career. The group released farewell double-A side 'Say Goodbye' / 'Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You' towards the end of May 2003, with Rachel's launch following less than 4 months later. 'Say Goodbye' was penned by pop genius Cathy Dennis who kept Rachel in mind for her fellow composition 'Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex'. Dennis was inspired by Justin Timberlake's 'Cry Me A River' when writing the latter and envisioned his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears singing it. However, Spears did not approve of the content and rejected it, instead keeping fellow Cathy Dennis track 'Toxic' for herself. So this opened up a window for Rachel Stevens to kick off her solo career with 'Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex'. The music video for 'Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex' was directed by Tim Royes who was also behind Holly Valance's 'Kiss Kiss' video earlier in the countdown. Stevens was initially hesitant to carry out this video, most memorable for the choreography with red ribbons, but warmed up to it in the end. Stevens' solo career was off to a storming start as 'Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex' peaked at #2 in the U.K., only blocked here by 2003's biggest seller, the also Timberlake-adjacent 'Where Is The Love?' by the Black Eyed Peas. This song bagged Rachel a BRITs nomination for Best Single but lost out to 'White Flag' by Dido, which also settled for #2 in the charts behind the Peas. This song was the sweetest dream for both JosephStyles and HarryGarfield, who gave Rachel the best possible score of 11. Meanwhile, Roba. was ready to stop playing this record again, scoring it a lowly 3.
  7. This left the album chart this week so managed the following run: 1-8-21-35-81 the movie is available to stream in a few days so might have a chance of re-entering?
  8. Jade posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Great to see 'Chase the Sun' by Planet Funk certified gold I guess its darts association probably helps.
  9. ^ Tinie Tempah was also part of the reworking that got to #1 so I can still find it here:
  10. Continuing to comb through the credits on this BTS album and for those wondering what the members of 3OH!3 are up to (no-one? oh, okay x), one of them is making some money with a writing credit on ‘SWIM’
  11. FLO’s new video has now challenged ‘Stateside’ as some of the most fun visuals of 2026 so far for me!
  12. I knew sombr was young but not that young xx
  13. “in at #12 and up 2” - make it make sense Jack x
  14. This remix has really grown on me but the original is still the one I'd seek out ❤️
  15. This instrumental outro is stunning
  16. Great to see more classical sounds in the top 40 recently with 'Berghain' and now this! Quite an inspired direction for RAYE.
  17. I admire Zara's dedication to the 2000s aesthetic, only found out the other day that the person who created the artwork for the Muni Long remix of 'Midnight Sun' is the actual guy who did the artwork on the Hed Kandi compilations:
  18. This is one of her very best for me I always associate this song with breaking her crazy streak of #1s in the U.S... what an era
  19. Again the production on that BTS song was more interesting than the lyrics for me, but those sounded more competent this time; I see Ryan Tedder was involved
  20. Not a Samantha Mumba cover?
  21. Well at least we got a 'Leak It' clip via the news
  22. '12 to 12' is comfortably my favourite song played so far even if the freshness is not in the room with us
  23. Not feeling these lyrics at all (apparently JPEGMafia has a writing credit?! oh my) but quite enjoying the aggressive production. I see Flume was involved with that 🔥
  24. Oops if 'Leak It' has been blocked by the very fresh 'Die With A Smile'
  25. Just BTS and RAYE mentioned at the start of the show
