  2. Oh 'I Trance' is a great Agnes pick 🥰 I didn't even think about instrumental contestants like Escala and Tokio Myers, interesting avenues there. Looking forward to checking out all the songs.

  7. Voted for 'Crickets Sing for Anamaria'! I admire how much of a swerve that was as a single choice.

  17. Hi Sergej! Glad you're also enjoying HAIM, JADE and Lorde's material at the moment. This Lorde record feels like a return to form. thank you for commenting 💖 Hi James! Hope you'll enjoy Addison's stuff, she's been one of the most exciting names in pop for me this year. Shame JADE did indeed fall short of making the U.K. top 40 </3 she wasn't too far off so it's a pity that physicals weren't available. thank you for commenting 💖 Hi Piran! I gave Lorde's album a quick first listen on Friday and it was sounding pretty great to me, especially 'Shapeshifter' and 'Broken Glass'. Looking forward to listen #2! thank you for commenting 💖 Glad you're liking it, 'Trustfall' came to mind for me too as well as 'Dancing On My Own' and 'we can't be friends (wait for your love)' production-wise thank you for commenting 💖
  18. The Jam were the first act my mum saw live! Not a bad start to concert-going. I had a massive Adam and the Ants hyperfixation during the height of the pandemic. I was watching a lot of old TOTP episodes / compilations while we were stuck inside most of the time and thought their performances were electric, so needed to know more. I particularly fell in love with the Kings of the Wild Frontier album but also agree with Severin that their more punk-leaning debut Dirk Wears White Sox is an underrated gem. I found their third album disappointing but do enjoy the two #1s it produced and their accompanying music videos, ushering in the potential of the colourful new MTV era. Shame they didn't last too long as a group but what incredible heights they reached in the U.K. during 1981 especially. Speaking of a lot of success largely concentrated to one year... love those three massive Frankie #1s, particularly 'Two Tribes'. Not a huge fan of '80s McCartney either but am rather fascinated by the existence of the polarising 'Temporary Secretary', will give him that
  19. 'Headphones On' climbing into the top 10 it's my favourite song on Addison's album for sure but it's a strong body of work on the whole!
  20. Hi Piran, hope you're good! Great to see JADE debuting this week ❤️ I'm a sucker for that ethereal synth sound. Need to catch up on her Glastonbury set as it seems to have gone down well *.*

Hi James, hope you're doing well! Happy to see Lorde continuing to top your chart. I checked out her new album on release day and thought it was an improvement on Solar Power. I need to catch up on her surprise Glastonbury set! Yay 'twilight zone' achieving a top 10 peak now
  22. Hi Sergej hope you're having a good weekend so far! Good to see HAIM's new record topping your album chart and producing several new entries in the singles. Yay 'End of an Era' doing well for Dua here too - I remember it being an instant standout for me on Radical Optimism.
