To my ears this is the Christmas equivalent of what monster mash is at Halloween… don’t ask me to elaborate but they are sibling songs in that sense 😭 I think it’s the noises after the chorus

I’d imagine there’s more likely to be uplift for I did something bad & delicate as rep got special audio upgrade on Apple Music and they had some minor explicit lyric changes “delicate now says “god damn never seen that colour blue” and I did something bad says “if he calls me a b!tch then he had it coming” so there’s lots of discussion around that on social media and people probably listening to see for themselves

I am hoping RAYE, but I expect Ophelia to go back for at least a week a la easy on me, or could unfortunately be I run, ideally it would die off but it doesn’t look like it is unforch

Their end of year chart is very weird, it’s like if a song got to #1 it’s immediately gonna be in the top 20. I remember I used to follow their chart back in 2022 when the Taylor & Ed version of the joker and the Queen spent 3 weeks at #1, 2 other weeks in the top 10 and dropped out after 7 weeks total on chart and it was at like #12 in their end of year… so who knows. I wouldn’t be surprised if they give it to Ophelia

Not sure where to put this but I guess it’s coinciding with the new version of the film + documentary… debut has been re uploaded to YouTube, and the standard edition is on streaming (before it was just the deluxe) and more interestingly, there are some new lyrics on rep, I did something bad now says “if he calls me a b!tch then he has it coming” and apparently some others! Not sure what this means… maybe I’m delusional but I’m hoping maybe she’s gonna drop rep deluxe with some vault songs and release the songs as she wanted them as she was still being “clean” in her lyrics then!

They played kylie’s Xmas this morning! Not sure if it’s gonna be on the playlist as one of their Xmas songs or if it was just a one off as heard them talking about it before hand! (I was at work so didn’t hear properly just heard them mention Kylie and then the song played)

I’d imagine it’s just typical decline, it had a strange start terms of it grew over its first week or two as people discovered and then naturally declined, just looks so much worse due to Xmas, similar to the fate of Ophelia dropping so dramatically on ACR due to Christmas songs so many above. I’d imagine she’ll probably have at least one or two back in the top 40 come jan
