Friday Chart Predictions
It’s interesting Ariana is sticking around because it’s not the most memorable of her singles.

Friday Chart Predictions
I would like Danceteria to stay top 40 as it would make it the first of her albums to have two songs peak top 40 since Hard Candy in 2008.

Confessions II ● 15th album
Who was the other pre-2000s female soloist?

Confessions II ● 15th album
That is fantastic! I saw lots of people saying a 10 million debut was optimistic so I’m very happy with that!

Confessions II ● 15th album
What an initial run from I Feel So Free to Danceteria! Those first five tracks are killer. The Test, Fragile and L.E.S Girl are heartbreaking and beautiful. Hard to narrow down favourites when everything is very strong

Confessions II ● 15th album
Yes I love it it’s an unexpected ending, the only thing I wish was that there was a spoken outro like how the album starts.

Feeling so proud of Madonna right now. A perfectly executed campaign and I hope it shows in the sales.

Confessions II - First Week Sales
I’m feeling cautiously optimistic for Madonna, there seems to be a good amount of hype and the promo has been spot on.

Radio 2 Playlist 2026
There’s a new Madonna album out in two weeks and she has nothing on their playlist. That concerns me slightly. I know Bring Your Love was A-list but that came and went pretty quick.

I wonder which Madonna song they will playlist next? They’ve dropped Bring Your Love.

Never thought Louis Tomlinson would have the highest solo 1D album debut sales outside of Harry Styles.

Would love to see Sienna Spiro have another big hit. Having said that she has great longevity in the mid regions of the chart which is just as good as a high peak.

I saw that globally it did over 1 million on Spotify but it was split between the normal version and radio edit sadly ☹️

The charts in the early 90s vs late 90s
When I started purchasing music downloads were becoming the dominant method, so the idea of having to go into town to buy a copy of a cd containing two or three songs seems alien but simpler times.

Friday Chart Predictions
Contrary to rumours there was no Rein Me In duet at R1 Big Weekend. It doesn’t look like it was in the setlist at all.

Capital FM Playlist 2026
Oh no Bring Your Love out 😪 Tbf they’ve not promoted it at all, no video nothing.

Just listened to the new Lola Young by chance and wow what a lovely song. Not been a fan previously.

Would’ve preferred The Chemical Brothers to get a new peak of #4 than Drake having 3 new entries.

If Katy Perry’s streams are now being allocated to this hits collection, does that mean Teenage Dream will drop off the charts?

Friday Chart Predictions
I do agree that the lack of turnaround has made the charts quite stale, however I think the revival of older songs to the chart is at least keeping things interesting. If 5/10 years ago you’d have said that some of these songs would have a new lease of life you wouldn’t have believed it. I think the true low point for the charts was in the earlier days of streaming when we had newer songs hogging the charts and didn’t have older revivals to make it more interesting. It was almost impossible for older/legacy artists to chart and now we’re seeing more variety.

I wonder what yesterday’s UK streams were for Bring Your Love and if it was close to the top 200.

Should easily double her last album first week sales of 7,265 copies.

Would love nothing more than to see Mel take the number 1. Mainly because I know how much it would mean to her.
