I’m kind of surprised that the Netflix documentary has boosted Lewis so much. They haven’t done much for other artists in the past.

She re-released the Christmas album with Sony a couple of years back but I imagine that was just a one-off. Would be cool if she still had their backing but would imagine not the case.

Don’t want to get too carried away but Diane Warren songs are often nominated for Oscars right? . Could you imagine if Leona became Oscar nominated? I See You was Golden Globe nominated but (wrongly in my opinion) didn’t get an Oscar nod.

I’m pretty sure they predicted P!nk to debut at no.5 with about 55k and she ended up at no. 2 with 74k so it might be a conservative estimate.

I always felt like Funhouse was a much bigger era than I’m Not Dead so I’m interested to see it at number 3. I guess IND just sold more consistently in smaller amounts.

In the video I also noticed the men dancing on beds around 2.30 was almost identical to the Alejandro video.

Bloody Mary is riding on radio internationally but isn’t being played in the UK by the looks of it.

Maybe they are trying to keep quiet as they are aware that Torygate caused a stir. Bring her back out in another 6 months or so with new material.

One More Sleep should be an international classic! It’s got everything a good Xmas song needs, Spotify need to have more faith that it can be a global hit as it just needs exposure.

Most of the popular Xmas Spotify playlists are US centric so OMS lacks exposure compared to classics, alternatively it has been in the top 10 for weeks on AM. Hopefully next Christmas she will do more promo especially with the tour.
