  2. The "'Black Magic' is the reason they're nominated" doesn't really wash with me. Isn't everyone nominated due to their successes in the past year? No-one would perform new songs if they were to just perform the songs that have already been hits.

They have two nominations solely because Black Magic was one of the biggest selling British singles and one of the most viewed British videos? So, it is the sole reason they're nominated. :P

  5. The editing at the start of the video is so bad. Let's show a second of her lip-syncing, particularly when she's inbetween words.

It's a nice video though, nothing amazing but thank God she stayed away from the green screen this time.

  7. There's been a protest at the BAFTAs called #BAFTABlackout.

The image shows that they want a quota system but I think that's the completely wrong way to go about it. It makes any diverse nomination look like a token one. Quotas aren't inclusive at all as they don't suggest if they got the nomination because they were good or because of their ethnicity.

I think the bigger problem is with Hollywood not putting enough black actors/actresses in major roles.

  8. It's finally over. :') SO sorry that it took so long but I did want every show to have its own proper moment (so the countdown was also seen as a sort of celebration) and once I'd started that way, I had to carry it all the way through but then I've obviously had life that has prevented me from doing this quickly. Thanks to Lee, Liam, Joseph, Ultraviolence & Lindsey for helping me out with some of the commentaries, it is greatly appreciated and also thanks to Silas and Liam (again) for the nomination rounds for International and Reality! Also big thanks to anyone who voted at any stage and those who have followed along with the drawn out results.

It's an interesting result in the end, even if we had the same winner as the previous two similar countdowns, it seems as though the love for Friends will never die! It's interesting to see that the split between UK/International/Reality was fairly even overall. I was expecting Big Brother to be in the Top 10 though considering the love for it on the site and, indeed, I wasn't expecting Breaking Bad to be Top 10.
