It might be a good idea to look into why the number of people claiming dla has increased. Given the stories I’ve heard about how many hoops people have to jump through to receive it, I imagine it’s because we have an increased number of people living with a disability rather than that it’s just too easy to get your hands on.

Zoe is totes Joel’s real mum and abandoned him. It actually all fits really well right down to Zoe suddenly not wanting anything to do with Kat offscreen all those years ago. It also makes sense why Vicki came back with a new man instead of Spencer and why Joel is her stepson rather than writing in a child for her during her absent years. Unfortunately it does feel like a coincidence too far given Kathy married Sharon’s biological father and the Knights moved in across the road from where Cindy used to live. One thing I’m sure won’t happen though-no one will ever mention to Zoe that she has a twin brother. That was one of the worst twists ever.

Surely Lynne would have been better placed for sorting Zoe out as they grew up as sisters and got on very well whereas Stacey and Zoe always hated each other. Obvious reasons why it wasn’t written that way but still.

Almost twenty years to the day we last saw her! I am wondering whether the ridiculous rumour about Zoe being Joel’s mum could be true, seemed to be a bit of foreshadowing tonight.

It would have been quite ridiculous if Never Ever hadn’t gone to no.1 at some point when four lesser hits got there for them much more comfortably afterwards, and yet it almost didn’t happen. Not sure Bamboogie would have been a well remembered no.1 but I do recall it being no.1 on the Chart Show on the Saturday.

I just don’t know why Peter has ended up the way he has. You’d think after killing Lucy and Steven, they’d actually work hard on Peter but he’s now just the token child of Ian and Cindy despite being a personality vacuum. Jean just proving why Harvey is better off.

Peter has barely been in Louis’ life at all. Lauren gave birth to Louis in England in September 2015 when Peter was still in New Zealand. She was back in the UK by June 2016 and stayed until February 2018 and didn’t see Peter once until she went back to New Zealand. Peter then returned to Walford without Lauren or Louis in February 2020 and remained there until August 2022 I think and Peter returned before Lauren or Louis by at least 6 months. So Louis isn’t even ten and Peter has only been with him at most about 4-5 years of that whereas Lauren has been there for all of it.

That, I can get behind. Although I hope the character has developed and matured a lot because I just watched their stint in Classic EE and they’re generally remembered for 2 iconic storylines and not a likeable personality.

That bit at the end I’d actually seen rumoured but just assumed could not be true! Could be here for it. This did a good job of wrapping things up. A shame the Rani went out quite quickly but I kind of knew they would keep Anita Dobson on somehow. Only disappointment (aside from Ncuti going) was that Susan didn’t appear and nor was she mentioned. Anita is an absolute icon.

Realising that Reform are growing as a threat in Wales doesn’t cancel out the fact that Plaid have lead in a lot of the polls recently. It also doesn’t cancel out that many people in Wales see Reform as a threat to our own culture, language, etc that they seem to want to eradicate. There is a difference between imagination and hypothesis. I don’t feel I need to explain more. And once again, you say you have a balanced view and yet the evidence in your posts does not support this. You appear to judge actions by people rather than people by actions. I’d ask for evidence of how I’m wrong on ‘every issue’ I comment on but then I remember the many times people have asked you for examples of what you say and are left disappointed. The hypothetical situation I spoke of is not ‘imaginary’-it’s what I think of you based on the evidence I’ve seen in your posting. I haven’t plucked that out of thin air because I want it to be true, it is the impression you have left on me. How do you know you are seeing how things are and I’m seeing them how I want to? How do you know that it isn’t the other way around? What evidence are you basing that on?

The evidence is in all of your posts, it’s hardly imaginary. Unless I’m wrong and you’re not biased at all, it’s really just everyone else who is biased.

I’d expect in more in touch with the Welsh people than you are. You’ve selected some polls that support what you say yet have ignored others. You do that all the time and anyone can do that to fit what they want to say. Reform are a serious threat in Wales right now, I’m not ignoring that, but Reform do not care for Wales and have outright stated plans to strip us of OUR culture (the absolute irony of it.) Even if Reform get in in Wales, it will not go well for them. And I’m not calling it propaganda because I disagree with it, I do so because that is how you operate in these threads. If Starmer suddenly started doing everything Trump is doing from tomorrow, you would perceive it to be bad or copying or not genuine or some other kind of criticism because it’s not the actions you hate, it’s Starmer. If Trump started implementing similar policies in the US to Starmer, you’d be saying how great it all is. That has been the way you have posted for a long time and one of the reasons that people don’t take you seriously here.

Michael, we have just watched the Six cover up a huge murder and get away with it. Even Bernie let them off the hook. Kathy even went for another go and still isn’t in prison. Stacey served less than six months for murder and is always let off the hook when she has an affair. The women get away with just as much as the men. Look at Nicola right now FFS.
