Round 6 : Year End Survivor No.94
#saveanastacia Not that she’d make it past the next round. Umbrella to go. It being here really doesn’t make it a level playing field for the others.

Huw Edwards named as BBC presenter at centre of scandal
That’s what I meant. There’s no use in demanding he see a harsher punishment if they haven’t handed any to someone else in the same position.

Huw Edwards named as BBC presenter at centre of scandal
He should have a custodial sentence if anyone else who has committed the exact same crime has been given one.

EastEnders
Poor Bobby. Nice to see Ian being a good dad to him though. Also love Nicky DiMarco not being arsed helping Sonia get out of prison.

Round 5 : Year End Survivor No.94
Not really since the four worst have already been kicked out. I like all of these now but am voting Rihanna just because Umbrella had a chance in a much earlier round. I wish Anastacia could win but she won’t. She gets targeted pretty early in these things.

The Corrs
Ouch! Why so expensive! I’ll prioritise Talk On Corners-despite the price and maybe White Light. The others can all wait tbh.

EastEnders
Well, I had doubts midweek but I deem it a successful return for Chrissie. Brilliant to have closure on Jake’s fate as well and also sowing the seeds for Ruby.

EastEnders
Surprised Emmerdale won-I don’t watch it but from what I’ve heard it’s been decidedly average for a while.

EastEnders
I always wondered if Chrissie could have been pregnant when she went to prison and so she was. Part of me wonders if there’s a twist and she does have an 18 year old son out there, possibly living with Jake (who could also still be alive.)

EastEnders
Why are prison scenes always so shockingly acted? Why do they save the hammiest actors for them?

EastEnders
I enjoyed the Sharon and Chrissie scenes tonight-the interaction I always hoped for with a Chrissie return. We’ll see what happens but it’s a little disappointing to see the set up of Chrissie terrorising Sharon for the rest of the week. That’s the sensationalist interaction I hoped we wouldn’t have. Also shocked to see Elaine find out the truth tonight. Still so much to unpick there.

Gavin & Stacey • The Finale: 2024 Christmas Special
I’m annoyed because I was literally on Barry Island on Thursday 29th on holiday and they were nowhere to be seen and as soon as I go back to work, there’s picture of the filming everywhere!

You+Me
I’d love another You+Me album. I remember being surprised the last one got top 10!

Well actually my comment was to remind people about the real victims of this situation. I don’t really like seeing people seemingly getting excited about proving people wrong and stating that people are ‘stubborn’ and ‘unbelievably stupid’ because they disagree with you-within the same breath as saying people can’t handle a different opinion. The fact is, whatever happened, these families have suffered and will continue to do so-more so if this is dragged out. Quite honestly, if the convictions ever were overturned, I’d honestly still believe her guilt. All that will have changed is that they wouldn’t be able to say for definite that she killed them-or didn’t kill them. Hospitals wouldn’t touch her. Not even her parents coming in for a meeting would get her back into the medical profession. It’s highly likely her life would not be worth living should she be released. And we clearly don’t all just believe what the media tells us. Otherwise we’d all be supportive of these appeals right now.

EastEnders
Amazing to see Chrissie is still in prison. 19 years! Lucas was out in 10! Clair Norris is great and Bernie is a fantastic character. She works well as a support but can also carry some big scenes. I don’t think Bernie will say anything-it’s pretty absurd that she wouldn’t but it looks like they’re going to stretch this out a bit longer.

That’s lovely, I’m more concerned about how the families of those poor babies are feeling.

Just my opinion, chillax.

Lucy Letby
I’m stating my own opinion, why is that an issue for you?
-
Lucy Letby
Most likely because you haven’t obsessed over other cases like you have this one.

EastEnders
Dean will still go down but bow its for the crime he actually did commit. It’ll be interesting to see what tomorrow’s episode will bring. It might not be a bad thing if the identity of Keanu’s killer isn’t dragged out until next February-there’s still enough story in this plot regardless. Let’s not forget though just how many people got away with covering up that Bobby killed Lucy.

EastEnders
Definitely a loose end that needs tidying up! Court scenes were much better today. Linda certainly put Sharon to shame. I audibly gasped when Dean admitted to the rape. I’ve waited for that moment for almost 10 years.
