I didn’t specifically single you out and this whole board is full of people calling everything a flop all the time. It’s quite tiresome but thanks for making it all about you.

And the context has been explained. Stop coming for Eastenders, you barely watch it.

EastEnders
People don’t watch live TV like they used to. The highest rating on Christmas Day was the King’s speech on about 7 million. 4 years ago, Gavin and Stacey managed 18 million-but that was unusual for the time to be that high. Honestly it’s like some people just wasn’t to scream ‘flop’ for attention…

Another great ep. I liked how they weren’t initially keen on working together, seemed more natural that way. No Dean appearance but I’d bet he’s somehow witnessed some of this.

Not everyone has been here for the 10 years this has been going on and don’t realise that the trolling is deemed normal and acceptable on this site.

Aside from one poster, no one has said Last Christmas is not one of the most popular Christmas songs. But I expect very few are searching it out to play on repeats. It’s very clear that Christmas playlists are the leading reason for the high streams of any Christmas songs.

Are you sure? Abandoned at a church as a baby, supposed mother’s face not seen, no DNA matches to anyone else on the databases and a neighbour who knows what a Tardis is? There’s definitely something going on!

I’ve just remembered too that Linda was the first character Clenshaw mentioned in relation to this story. Almost a year ago everyone was asking what will Linda do now and he said she was going to be part of a new never before done storyline. The answer was hiding in plain sight.

I guess there’s a chance you’re correct but I don’t think so. Those ‘leaked’ pictures had him talking to Lauren who not only hasn’t returned yet but I don’t think ever interacted with Keanu in any meaningful way. It’s likely the pics were taken to throw people of the scent like the ones of pregnant Abi Branning appearing at her own funeral.

Good point actually, I’d put money on the fact Dean didn’t leave the Vic when we think he did and witnessed the whole thing.

Amazing. I’ve had a feeling about Keanu for so long even though Nish and Jack seemed quite likely of late, I just knew Keanu couldn’t remain after what he’d done. As soon as he entered, I realised that Nish was probably not dead. Linda being the killer I didn’t see coming at all, when Denise hit Nish I thought they’d gone too obvious as we’ve known she had the bottle for months. And omg Suki’s short lived relief that she could tell Denise that she hadn’t killed Nish and then seeing Keanu’s body. Will be interesting to see tomorrow’s episode! Rocky will be leaving soon and I guess it’ll be a pretty low key exit now and it was nice to see Ravi turn into somewhat of a hero. Poor Bernie too, she’ll carry some guilt for a while over this. Pretty sure the whole cast bar Freddie appeared too, classic Christmas episode. It did not disappoint.

Literally nothing you’ve listed bothered me in the slightest. ‘Getting away with being touchy feels because he’s gay’ is such a loaded and telling comment, no wonder you put all those non spoilers in needless spoiler tags on here. Do better. I thought it was good. I like 15 and I like Ruby and I like her family too. Davina’s part was quite good too and nowhere near as cringe as it could have been. Anita Dobson’s character is also intriguing. It was a basic intro episode and that’s fine. 15 and Ruby joining in the singing was the only part I really wasn’t that fussed with but generally a promising start.

EastEnders
I think I agree with your prediction there, Liam. With no more episodes until the biggie, it kind of feels like Kathy had been a little left out of the Six-bit I’d have said Linda was occupying that situation until a couple of months ago. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

EastEnders
Well perhaps if you watched the show you’d have known that a lot points to Dean or Keanu too or even Jack at this point. Phil, Rocky and Ravi also have reasons to be the body too but it really doesn’t feel like anything is really building up for them. I guess we’ll see what the next few episodes bring.

Neighbours
lol I love how much effort the writers clearly went to just to have Mel awkwardly be at Nell’s party. Trying to hard springs to mind. Speaking of which, Nell was way more excited that a 15 year old should be for a ‘party’ where none of her friends are attending and just boring adults who live across the road. Chloe and Elly also challenging Toadie and Terese for worst chemistry.

Loved how Kat overheard Albie’s paternity in much the same way Sharon found out Denise was carrying Phil’s baby almost exactly 7 years ago.

Rebecca Ferguson - Heaven Part II
This is a great album. Such a shame she’s giving it all up. She’s so talented but unfortunately her experiences in the world of music have not been good ones.

Doctor Who • 2023-
I think it takes a god tier batshit energy to have that much hatred for an actor that has spent less than half an hour in the role and another that hasn’t even appeared on screen yet.

They’re all pretty good! Went with Beam Me Up.

Trustfall [NEW ALBUM]
I have enjoyed the deluxe version. Have only got the CD not the vinyl but I hope it keeps the album in the charts over the Christmas period.

EastEnders
Karen had her moments but I believe EE tried to make her into some sort of forced icon in the same way they did with Mick Carter. She was often pretty nasty-I’ll never forget when they tried to make her being racist into a comedic joke (the character clearly wasn’t racist so it never felt real) and she was downright awful to certain character over the years. She also has the whole ‘how am I gunna feed me kids’ storyline over and over acting as if the world owed her something despite the fact she usually got into those circumstances through her own poor decision making. Lorraine Stanley could do the comedy and kindness very well but she really fell short at most moments requiring strong emotion for me. At those times, it really looked like she was acting and therefore it fell flat. In short, she was alright but I won’t miss her.

Doctor Who • 2023-
I loved the mick taking premise of the threat. I loved the Toy Maker, I loved Ncuti and I loved seeing Mel and Donna get happy endings. Not too sure on the bi-generation though. It feels a bit like they’ve given the gammons a straw to clutch when they inevitably hate Ncuti’s Doctor by saying he isn’t even a real Doctor because Tenant still exists. Tenant’s Doctor being allowed to remain has also happened once with the human Doctor getting to live happily ever after with Rose.

EastEnders
A fitting exit for Karen and Mitch. Keeping Mitch’s exit a secret was a good idea as it kept the idea of Karen going to prison alive right up until tonight. Bailey, Mack and Mia just weren’t appearing much at all so not much of a loss-i had to laugh at the idea of Bailey being emotional at leaving when she’s barely been there all year. I think this is like her fourth episode of 2023 or something. I actually think Bernie and Felix will be fine for now. They both work well in their current roles and perhaps might even get more focus now the wider family have gone. I still can’t shake the idea of Keanu being the Christmas victim. I imagine he won’t last long either way. Interesting to see Theo not in the line up but I guess his story is almost over and he was the only one that felt ‘created’ for the plot. Seriously doubt Phil will be in any danger whatsoever but since they’ve officially teased a seventh woman-has to be Kat right? Jack though I think could be in genuine trouble.
