This was one of the very first albums I owned. It’s an absolute masterpiece and takes me back to some special times in my life. It’s no secret that I absolutely adore this woman and every single track here has a special meaning for me. I love she’s acknowledged this anniversary even though it now being 20 years old makes me feel ancient (turning 35 yesterday helps with that :lol: ) A new vinyl rerelease would be very much appreciated!

If this is looking like an ending of sorts for Harold, I hope they get Sky back for it, not least so that she can appear as Sky again rather than the Robocop she was last time. Intrigued as to what will happen with Mike and Jane.

Has he not noticed that the quality of the show sky rocketed once he left. He even made Janine almost boring. The storylines were shot for years because they were always trying prop Mick/Danny up as some sort of legendary character when he was absolutely crap. Does anyone even miss him from the show? I don’t think so. He was what was holding the show back for years and now he’s gone it’s like it can breathe again. Given that Cindy’s return has solidified the idea that no body=not dead, I hate that his ending was so open ended. He should never ever return.

Would have expected Pop Ya Collar to be higher.

Omg I recently revisited that storyline whilst watching the classic episodes. I can’t believe how many episodes were dedicated to it. I also realised that whilst Nell was one of the most indulged children I’ve ever seen, every scene seemed to be Toadie and Sonya palming her off on someone else so maybe she wasn’t that spoilt.

Given their past behaviour (treatment of Kelle) it doesn’t come too much as a surprise that they’re both TERFs. Disappointing.

I know everyone’s obsessing over Kylie this week but my cd and vinyl of Our Songs arrived yesterday and I’m loving it. Can’t get enough of her voice, she could be singing the phone book and I’d listen.

I would have fully expected that character to return tbh.

She’s been one of the weaker links to me, she never looks like she wants to be there, about as far away from Hollywood glitz as I could imagine. Terese has been in the show for ten years, through some massive stories and a marriage to Paul Robinson. If you don’t know who she is, I’m not sure why you’re bothering. I did say they were going to have to work hard to sell Toadie and Terese but those beach scenes weren’t it. It’s amazing that two very capable actors seem unable to make this work. Lots of the Dialogue surrounding them feels pretty forced too. Sadie remarking ‘it’s weird if you make it’ or something like that kind of felt like they were telling people to get over it. I am living for Holly channeling her mother though, this was always the Holly Hoyland I wanted to see.

I see, I never watched the OC. Is it that hard just to call her Mischa?

Ok, I’ll bite. Who is Marisa? Michael keeps mentioning her and I can’t find anyone of that name. I love that the Rodwells got a reprieve. Wendy is an icon on the making so ending the show just as she started felt unfair.

I really enjoyed that. Very familiar yet fresh at the same time. The twist was spoiled for me but even then they’re going to have to put a lot of work into selling it over the next few weeks. It’s going to be great having it back, it still doesn’t quite feel real!

The jury were quite thorough despite this. It’s not like they found her guilty of every charge.

The woman is dangerous if she honestly believes she didn’t do it.

It was refreshing to see Chelsea believe Denise almost straight away rather than just have everyone randomly declare her crazy. So much more realistic than it would have been a few years ago.

Definitely looking forward some of these! The Corrs, Garbage and Catatonia and even Gabrielle and Lighthouse Family! Was hoping to see Talk On Corners listed. Hopefully they’ll issue it soon anyway.

‘Pretend to misunderstand’ yeah, whatever you say. Just bound into the thread, say something you know might not be the shared view amongst the majority and then run out again declaring you won’t return because it’s our problem if we don’t agree with you. This is my issue with anti-trans people. They don’t want to understand, they don’t even want to talk. They just want to shout and then my shielded from the response/criticism.

I do remember there was a soap actor who was sacked for racist tweets from years ago but these also hadn’t been deleted and despite it being years ago, people were still able to view them. And it’s not exactly cancellation but an employer deciding to let them go due to a badly kept social media. That is something you get warned about before entering the world of work. And it definitely isn’t cancellation if people weren’t aware of you anyway. Cancelling is not a real thing. It’s a celeb made construct to deflect from the awful things some of them are saying and doing. Why is it some people always focus on ‘how’ someone expresses their disappointment and less on the actions of the bigoted?

Cancel culture only doesn’t work because it doesn’t exist. Roisin Murphy allegedly cancelled looking at her best chart position in decades. Those who claim to be cancelled and silenced are extremely loud.

It does feel odd that Kat is all for calling off the wedding because Phil kept Alfie’s confidence when she decided she would stay with him after his actions lead to her and her son being held at gun point just nine months ago. That was clearly when she should have left Phil.
