Siren Society - If It Was Me
Yeah this isn’t really doing much to convince me they’re any better now than they were on the show, oop. Pretty basic and boring.

Pop Track of the Week 2025: Week 31
It’s not really based on who’s well known or not, just a selection of new pop releases. And with a focus on only pop music now there will be some weeks lesser known names are included!

Henry Moodie - mood swings
Album is called mood swings and is out on 24th October 14 tracks, 8 new and 6 we’ve already got! - - right person, wrong time - - - sunday morning drunk text indigo - - comedown pick up the phone - Intrigued by you were there for me being excluded (even if I think I’d have preferred no songs from the first 2 EPs at all drunk text was always going to be a given though)

Chappell Roan - The Subway
I've given this a few listens now to see if it gets any better as a few of her other songs have taken time to click with me, but nah. This is average at best.

Big Brother US • Season 27
Just caught up on veto and eviction, and christ that was such an awful week. I was liking Lauren until this week but she was so weak as HOH. Trying to prove she's playing her own game and making her own decisions but just sat there and did absolutely nothing and cried about it. I actually think Katherine could have more balls and conviction as HOH to go after who she's actually been gunning for and not just sit there and try not to get any blood on her hands. We just need to see proof of life first. I'm gutted Adrian's gone. I know he's not done anything major game wise, but the random moments of him just being in his own world in the house were hilarious, and he could've gotten louder and stronger down the line. I'll take another week of Jimmy being HOH if it means we don't get anything like Lauren's this week again Adrian Morgan Zach Rachel Mickey Ava Will Rylie Katherine Keanu Vince Lauren Ashley Jimmy Kelley

Another 'major' announcement coming on Sunday apparently, so if this isn't the album...- Henry Moodie - sunday morning
This is so good probably my favourite of the three from this 'era' so far (indigo and comedown are both great but this has all the vibes)! Glad to see him getting some decent playlist support too - #15 on NMF *.- Alex Warren - You'll Be Alright, Kid
Apologies for the delay but polite notice to avoid making things personal here please. I don't think we need to be bringing people's emotional intelligence into any discussion, and on Alex Warren of all people. If you're not adding any value to the discussion by trying to have a swipe at others just don't post because it's going to be deleted.- Siren Society - If It Was Me
First single from Building the Band’s Siren Society is coming on 6th August!- Least favourite Lady Gaga 3rd single ● ROUND 5
Alejandro for me!- OPINION POLLS 2024-2029
Recklessly? Reform are on the wrong side of pretty much everything else but this is where you think their popularity will stagnate? Labour MPs are out here recklessly likening anyone who disagrees with the policy (due to a number of very valid concerns and the slippery slope towards authoritarianism) to prolific sexual predators instead of listening to and addressing concerns. Clearly some people are looking at this, taking it at face value and are okay with being hoodwinked by the government because it looks like it's doing one thing when really it conveniently fulfils other agendas and makes 'online safety for children' something far more out of reach when it's open to circumvention.- The Untucked Lounge • General Discussion
I feel like every queen from the franchise has been dragged into this at some point the whole thing between MIB and Eureka is just weird now. Like deal with this in private?- Liam to judge Netflix's Building the Band
Liam really was great in this. The tributes to him bookending the show were lovely, particularly the very end of the show with the WMYB moment.- THROWBACK
Crazy to think how long it's been since Best Song Ever! Will always remember the time it was released. Like Joseph, the hold it had on me. The song, the video, ZAYN!!!!, everything- Will Linley - Don't Cry Because It's Over
Will Linley has just announced his debut album is out on 5th September Very excited for this new single First Love is also out on Friday!!- The online safety act
And yet it remains absolutely diabolical on all fronts. If there’s no rush, why now? Why not take even more time to get it right and gain trust with the public, building or outsourcing infrastructure that people can be satisfied (to whatever extent) their data is actually protected with? The whole thing just reeks of trying to pick up unfinished Tory business and taking the political credit for having pushed it through and done the job without any consultation as to what needs reviewed. Iz has already touched on it, but I’m very familiar with ID checks, facial recognition etc for the digital part of my job. There’s legitimate reasons for financial institutions to request such information, but blindly putting faith in however many different vendors or risk upsetting the ‘think of the children!!1!1!!’ lot? I’ll sit it out. Won’t be long before the data implications of this end up causing something along the lines of - and far more dangerous than - PPE 2.0.- ROUND 7: One Direction Solo UK Top 10 Hits Survivor
Would be Sign of the Times for me now x- Overcompensating • Season 1
Writers room for a potential second season is apparently in development- Destination X • Series 1
Starts on Wednesday! Being billed as Race Across the World meets The Traitors, new competition travel show with Rob Brydon hosting! Looking forward to this *.- Building the Band • Season 1
Binged this over the weekend and it really was a great show. A really refreshing take for 2025 (or 2024 I guess x) on music competition shows, and exactly where they should be headed if they're sticking around. Obviously the guidance is needed as things start to get down to the wire actually focusing on bringing it all together but giving them the power from the beginning to carve out what they want their band to be was a good move and the pods were great (even if still being in the pods 5 episodes in was a tiny bit too much). My only gripe was with the contestants themselves and how close-minded a few of them seemed to be. You're not really opening yourself to the full experience and surrendering to the blindness of the pods if you're still gonna sit there and say 'I only want my girlies, girl group, girl power' or 'it just HAS to be a boy band for me'. Was seriously impressed by the growth in the winner too. It felt very much like a runaway win for the runner-up having so much focus on them throughout so I was pleasantly surprised! The only thing that seemed produced to me was the constant (and very tiring) focus on Conor's obsession with Alison. He really was a stain on the whole show and I wish they'd just binned him. Clearly he's screwed his head on properly now though if they're still together now as a four-piece. Looking forward to new music from MTM! - Pop Track of the Week 2025: Week 31
