Its exploration of Isaac a bit more was very welcome, while obviously also focusing a lot on Elle too. Gonna go with Trey for favourite reality TV contestant, can't think far back enough at the moment and he's been one that I've loved in both shows he's appeared in. He was great in Squid Game: The Challenge, but it was pretty tough seeing everyone go in on him so hard on Battle Camp and for no real reason whatsoever other than that they're probably intimidated and threatened by how intelligent he is compared to them; particularly Chase lol. And then for most annoying reality TV contestant... no explanation required. I remember so vividly watching that episode of The Vampire Diaries when it was released and having Stefan kill Enzo was bad enough, but I wasn't prepared for the way the episode ended with Bonnie holding him in her arms and the scream she let out. Shivers everywhere Despite enjoying Waterloo Road's revival to an extent - particularly series 14 which was the closest we've had to vintage Waterloo Road I think - and having the likes of Kim around as head was a great way to reintroduce the show despite there being some big discrepancies with continuity I think the original magic of the show has definitely been lost. I love that they've capitalised on its success on iPlayer and brought it back, but I think they should have had a much clearer objective of what they wanted to achieve by bringing it back. I wouldn't say it's been completely ruined but when you think about the show it was when the likes of Rachel and co were in it and the stories they told back then, this is a very watered down version with much less going for it.
