We've known they were renting out studio space this year for a while now. And given what we know now, there's nothing to be alarmed about. There's not been any comments made about them renting out studio space next year, but it's worth noting that their studios in Cardiff have seven stages. Doctor Who only ever occupies three of those at a time from what we can tell from Unleashed (two episodes being filmed in parallel on two stages + the TARDIS being on a permanent stage). And when I said cite your sources, I didn't mean Jimmy from down the road who heard from someone who works on the show who knows my friend who knows my gran. We know season 3 hasn't been filmed yet, but the fact this news is the most reliable thing we've heard about the future of the show (from the same person who's commented in recent years on several that have turned out to be correct) means I and many others are willing to take that as the good news we were hoping for rather than feeding into doom-mongers. There's more guarantee at this point that season 3 will air in 2027 with The War Between the Land and the Sea filling the gap in 2026 while season 3 is in production (Ncuti isn't available for much of the remainder of this year so it'd be impossible to push a series out for next year). Can you cite your source for the TARDIS set having been taken down? Have you been on a tour of Bad Wolf Studios recently? Of course other sets will be taken down, it's the nature of TV production. The only set that will be a permanent fixture in the studios is the TARDIS, while others that are only used for single episodes will be dismantled while other shows are in production. What's stupid about it? Even if he doesn't go to prison, knowing that he would lose such a vast amount of income from disrupted touring because he's clearly a man-child that can't keep his hands to himself is quite satisfying. Sure it's annoying for fans (lord knows how they exist) but they'll be refunded. It's certainly a choice trying to act like him facing the consequences of his actions is an inconvenience. Somebody being punished for being a repugnant, violent person who has broken the law... isn't 'worth it' and justification enough for him not having a plain-sailing tour in your eyes?

No alluding to leaks about the episodes without spoiler tags, Michael. And you're going to be bitterly disappointed then that it's been said the BBC will continue to produce the show even if the Disney deal ends, with season 3 almost complete and season 4 scripts being written at the moment. Period crime drama series Peaky Blinders attracted a major fanbase over the course of its six series and is currently producing a feature film The Immortal Man for streaming on Netflix. South Korean series Squid Game took the world by storm with its deadly games when it first hit Netflix back in 2021 and the second season has not long been released with the third hitting Netflix next month. The series has also inspired reality competition show Squid Game: The Challenge which is well worth a watch. So let's see how things all end when Netflix loses another of its big hitters this year. And finally, you might ask what's to like about sitting down in front of the TV watching a group of characters... sit down in front of the TV? The Royle Family gave us many laughs from 1998 to 2012, having aired three series before going on to fill a traditional Christmas Day slot with a number of specials. Sadly Caroline Aherne is no longer with us and she was at the heart of the show, but we still have so many fun sitcom moments to look back on!

Season 1 of this premiered on Netflix in 2023, season 2 is due to be released later this year and Netflix have just recently renewed the show for season 3, speculated to be released in 2026.
