Welcome to Round 7 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension II' survivor polls & finishing in 7th place with just 25 points out of a possible 84 is Hello, which was the obvious contender due to it getting 6 bottom place ranking & was ranked mostly in the bottom 3, apart from 1 voter who had it at a 2nd place ranking. The song was originally an outtake from the first 'Tension' album sessions and was reworked into an electropop, synth-pop track. A decent little album track that perhaps a bit too similar to 'Padam, Padam' for it to stand out on its own and has probably outstayed its welcome on here. The Ranking Results 1. Welcome to Round 6 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension II' survivor polls. After a pretty close battle we say goodbye to Edge of Saturday Night a collaboration between Kylie & American DJ & producer The Blessed Madonna. It was literally neck and neck over the last couple of days between this & 'Hello', but 'EOSN' edged out in front with 8 votes, while the former gained 6, which makes this the 3rd out of the 4 features to drop leaving only 'MR' left in the running. The song was released in October 2024 as the 3rd single from The Blessed Madonna's debut album 'Godspeed' & was later included on Kylie's 17 studio album 'Tension II' in a slightly different sound and arrangement. The song is a cute bop with a fun 90's house vibe running throughout served with some fantastic dance beats and of course Kylie's vocals sound fantastic as always. Actually didn't mind its inclusion on 'T2' & find it far better than 'My Oh My' & 'Dance Alone', both of which were very sub-par efforts. Right then guys for this round we are taking a break from the usual voting polls & instead we're having a ranking round seeing as though we are pretty much at the half way point. The rules are simply just ranked the seven remaining songs from best to worst, with the #1 song getting 7 points and the bottom ranked song will get 1 point and the song with the least amount of points will be out by the next round. Welcome to Round 5 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension II' survivor poll and in the last round there was a double elimination, meaning we say goodbye to 2 tracks: Diamonds which gained 12 votes & Shoulda Left Ya with 11 votes. Both tracks gained more than half the votes & were the clear choices to get the boot. 'Diamonds' is cute slice of disco dance pop with a pulsating bassline running throughout & some nice harmonies which helps out with the rather cold vocal mixing. A nice track but wouldn't call it a standout and probably ranks in about the right place here. 'Shoulda Left Ya', an electronic dance ballad that follows in a similar vein to 'Hold On To Now' & 'Things We Do For Love' from Tension 1, but isn't nowhere near as good as either of those 2. A nice song though. Right then guys its back to the regular voting system for this round & as usual same rules apply just vote for your Least Fave 'Tension II' track from the remaining 8 and the one with the most votes will be eliminated. 'Diamonds' & 'Shoulda Left Ya'

Welcome to Round 4 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension II' survivor polls & the 3rd song to be voted and falling short of a top 10 placement is Dance Alone which gained 7 votes and features Australian singer songwriter Sia. Released in February 2024 as the 2nd single from Sia's 10th studio album Reasonable Woman & would later feature on Kylie's 17th studio album 'Tension II' as one of the 4 collaborations featured on there. Sia & Kylie had previously collaborated back in 2014 on Kylie's 12th album 'Kiss Me Once' where Sia served as executive producer and co-wrote 2 tracks ('Kiss Me Once' & 'Sexercise'). Both of which were far better than this forgettable little number (much like Sia's comeback album). Sia's vocals doesn't quite match the energy of the song, while Kylie sounds decent, but even she sounds a bit bored on this rather basic number that feels more like a bonus track than an actual single & both artists could do far better than this. As the for other results 'Shoulda Left Ya' wasn't far behind with 5 votes, while 'Diamonds' gained votes for the first time with 3, then 'Lights Camera Action', 'Taboo', 'Someone For Me' & 'Edge of Saturday Night' each gained 1 vote each. Right then guys we are down to the top 10 tracks on this with 3 gone & for this round there will be a Double Elimination, pick 2 of your least fave tracks & the 2 with the most eill be gone by the next round, so choose wisely.
