'Shoo-Bee-Doo' again, this should have went in the first round. Surprised that 'Pretender' went first as I actually think its better than 'Stay' (which is totally forgettable)

Welcome to Round 3 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension II' survivor polls and the 2nd song to get the boot is Dance To The Music, which gained 7 votes & not surprising considering it came very close to leaving in the first round. A sweet and airy disco bop with thick basslines and a catchy chorus. Yes this does feel like an outtake from the 'Disco' album sessions and probably would have suited that album better, but I like it, it's a cute inoffensive bop. 11 tracks left in the running now & same rules apply just vote for your Least Fave from the poll above and the one with the most votes will be out by the next round, which will be the all important top 10, which will then be a double elimination round. Dance To The Music

Welcome to Round 2 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension II' survivor poll & after a very close battle the first song to bow out is My Oh My which received 6 votes, just 1 vote ahead of 'Dance To The Music' which had 5 votes. The song was released as a single in July 2024 and features Bebe Rexha & Tove Lo. This was Kylie 3rd collaboration of the year following 'Dance Alone' & 'Midnight Ride' & all 3 were included on the sequel album. Not keen on this song & find that it doesn't fit on the album at all & find the processed vocals very grating & don't find the song very catchy at all. Glad this was the first one out as I don't go back to this very much upon playing the album. Same rules apply just vote for your Least Fave album track out of the 12 remaining tracks & the one with the most votes will be voted out by the next round which will be in about 5 days. Hope that 'My Oh My' goes first its easily the most grating song on there. Actually like 'Dance To The Music', its one of my faves, but looks like I'm in the minority here just like with 'Hands' on 'Tension I' as that went in the first round also. I will keep this open until Wednesday

Happy New Year & Welcome Buzzjack to the latest Kylie Minogue album survivor poll & let's kick off the new year with Kylie's latest offering Tension II, Kylie's 17th studio album & the sequel to her 2023 'Tension' (which I did a poll for last year). So sit back and enjoy as for the next few months we visit and vote, then eventually see what's Buzzjack's favourite 'Tension 2' track. There's 13 songs in the running & as usual the rules are simple, just vote for your Least Fave album track and the one with the most votes will be out in the next round which will be between 5-7 days, so get voting.

If it wasn't for the drama then I wouldn't be watching this season as the line-up and challenges have been terrible, Minhi Wang winning that design challenge was highly questionable & feel like nobody is giving strong winner vibes. Virgo Queen is doing the best so far, but that snatch game performance along with everybody else was dire. The worst snatch game i've ever seen. Did anyone catch that teaser at the end for the next episode, looks like somebody's gonna walk out.

p6Cnazi_Fi0 WINNER: Padam Padam - 8 Votes Well there you have it the winner of Kylie's 'Tension' survivor poll is Padam Padam, the lead single which led this project and went on to become one of Kylie's biggest hits by reaching a #8 peak on the UK charts, becoming her first top 10 hit since 2010 and its a well earned success and has made her one of the few artists to score top 10 hits 5 decades. The song is a sleek jam with breathy and seductive vocals and an infectious chorus. It may take some a few listens to fully love it, but this is a cracking gem that made Kylie a dominating force in the charts for the first time in many years. 8-aEr4WRPYk 2nd. Tension - 14 Votes In the runner-up spot is the second single the title track Tension, which received 14 votes and while it didn't come close to winning it's a more than worthy follow-up to the mammoth lead single. This takes a different turn when compared to the lead single with its banging 90's house dance beats and robotic vocals, but its equally as addictive and well crafted thanks to its euphoric production and it gave Kylie yet another smash hit by peaking at #19 on the UK charts which makes this her 53rd top 40 entry and its easily up there with some of her best work of all-time. 'A World Without You' SHOULD have been the X-Mas single for 2001, could have easily gone top 5/10, especially with the radio edit version. It could have easily pushed a few more album sales and kept the momentum going into the new year. Then have 'High On Love' as the final single to close out the era & maybe hell the album earn a Platinum certification.
